𝑰𝒏 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔 ‖ 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 (𝐌𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐀)

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the esteemed leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐎, Provincial Fire Marshal, and Tabuelan Fire Station personnel, headed by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐋𝐨𝐞𝐥 𝐏 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, Officer-in-Charge, actively participated in the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR SIA) 2026 Campaign.

In support of this vital health initiative, the Tabuelan Fire Station joined hands with the WHO representatives, Municipal Mayor Hon. Rex Casiano Gerona, Vice Mayor Hon. Rose Marie Gerona-Suezo, members of the Municipal Council, RHU Tabuelan staff and personnel, PNP, barangay officials, and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs).

The campaign focused on raising awareness and encouraging parents and guardians to have children aged 6–59 months vaccinated against Measles and Rubella. Through collective action and community cooperation, the initiative seeks to strengthen protection for our children and help build a healthier and safer community.

Because protecting our little ones is a shared responsibility—and when the community comes together, we can make every child’s future healthier, safer, and brighter!

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the esteemed leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐎, Provincial Fire Marshal, and Tabuelan Fire Station personnel, headed by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐋𝐨𝐞𝐥 𝐏 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, Officer-in-Charge, conducted Fire Safety Seminar & Drill at 𝑴𝒊𝒂 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆, Poblacion, Tabuelan, Cebu.

The activity aimed to raise employees’ awareness of potential fire hazards in the workplace and sharpen their knowledge of proper emergency evacuation procedures—because when it comes to fire safety, knowing what to do can make all the difference.

Through continuous fire safety education and preparedness initiatives, employees were equipped with the knowledge and confidence to spot hazards, prevent fire-related incidents, and respond swiftly and appropriately during emergencies. It also emphasized the importance of a swift, orderly, and coordinated evacuation when every second counts.

After all, preparedness is everyone’s responsibility—and being fire-ready today can save lives tomorrow.

Throughout the week, our personnel actively participated in the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, Team Leaders' Briefing, pickleball sports activity, community engagement initiatives, and other station duties. These activities reinforced operational readiness, promoted discipline and teamwork, and ensured the continuous delivery of quality public service to the community.
