New Tanglag National High School Joins Nationwide Synchronized Reading in Celebration of National Reading Month
New Tanglag National High School (NTNHS) joined the nationwide synchronized reading held on November 28 ,2023 in celebration of the National Reading Month. The school, along with thousands of other schools across the country, participated in the event, which aims to promote the love for reading and enhance studentsβ reading comprehension skills.
At exactly 9:00 AM, students, teachers, and staff of NTNHS participate in the synchronized reading session. Each participant brought their own book and read for 15 minutes. The school also provided a selection of books for those who did not have their own.
The synchronized reading session was a success, with everyone actively participating in the event. The school hopes that this event will encourage students to continue reading even after the National Reading Month has ended.
"We are very pleased with the turnout for the synchronized reading session," said Mary Joy Tangbawan, English Coordinator of NTNHS. "We believe that this event is a valuable opportunity for our students to develop a love for reading and to improve their reading comprehension skills."
