𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐘 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared Wednesday, July 15, 2026, a Special Non-Working Day throughout the Cordillera Administrative Region in celebration of the region’s 39th Founding Anniversary, through Proclamation No. 1334 signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto.

The declaration allows the people of the Cordillera to fully participate in and celebrate this significant milestone.

This year’s monthlong celebration is hosted by the Regional Development Council–Cordillera, through the Sectoral Committee on Economic Development, with the Province of Benguet serving as host. The celebration will culminate in the Cordillera Day Main Program on July 15, 2026, at the Benguet Sports Complex, La Trinidad, Benguet.

With the theme, “Smart Cordillera: Enabling Local Enterprises through Digital Transformation and Accelerated Regional Autonomy,” the celebration highlights the region’s commitment to innovation, inclusive growth, and strengthened regional development.
