TURNING PLANS INTO PARCELS: SUBDIVISION SURVEY CONDUCTED IN BALONG, TABUK CITY UNDER PROJECT SPLIT

On June 9, 2026, the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office (DARPO)-Kalinga, headed by PARPO Adela S. Damaso, conducted a subdivision survey covering Lot 452-A in Balong through Project SPLIT under the supervision of Project SPLIT Parcelization Coordinator CARPO Reynaldo B. Manongyao.

The survey team carried out the necessary field measurements to facilitate the subdivision of the landholding, an important activity in the parcelization process. While much of the work happens under the heat of the sun and away from the public eye, these on-site efforts help move the program forward and ensure that the required technical groundwork is properly undertaken.

Through the continued commitment of its personnel and the support of its stakeholders, DARPO-Kalinga remains steadfast in implementing Project SPLIT and bringing agrarian reform services closer to the communities it serves, one survey activity at a time.

DEFINING PARCEL IDENTITY FOR MORE SECURE AGRARIAN LANDS
Macutay, Rizal Subdivision Survey

Demonstrating its commitment to strengthening land tenure security among Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office (DARPO)–Kalinga, under the leadership of PARPO Adela S. Damaso, conducted a subdivision survey through Project SPLIT on May 25–26, 2026, in Macutay, Rizal, Kalinga. The survey covered seven (7) landholdings—P-1265, P-1376, P-1385, P-1417, P-1418, P-1425, and P-1426—with a total area of 20.5294 hectares

The activity focused on carefully breaking down the landholdings into clearly defined parcels, making sure that each area is properly identified on the ground and accurately reflected in records. This step helps bring clarity where boundaries may have been previously less distinct.

For Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), the subdivision survey provides a more tangible sense of the land they are entitled to. It helps reduce confusion on boundaries and gives them greater confidence in the land they till and depend on for their livelihood, supporting a more stable and secure future farming.

SUBDIVISION SURVEY CONDUCTED UNDER PROJECT SPLIT IN CUDAL, TABUK CITY, KALINGA

May 26, 2026- The Department of Agrarian Reform – Kalinga (DAR-Kalinga), through Project SPLIT, conducted a subdivision survey in Cudal, Tabuk City, Kalinga, under the leadership of PARPO Adela S. Damaso.

The activity covered P-929: Lot 92 – 114.6574 hectares; Lot 77 – 2.3496 hectares; Lot 197 – 6.9396 hectares;Lot 247 – 49.9928 hectares; Lot 265 – 8.2948 hectares, with a total land area of 182.2342 hectares

The subdivision survey ensures the accuracy of land records and the proper delineation of landholdings awarded under the agrarian reform program. It serves as the technical basis for the orderly documentation and eventual issuance of individual land titles.

For Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), this activity goes beyond technical mapping.
Clearly defined land boundaries provide them with a stronger sense of ownership and security over the land they cultivate.

It helps reduce misunderstandings and potential boundary conflicts, allowing farmers to focus more on improving farm productivity rather than resolving land-related issues.

With secured and well-documented landholdings, ARBs gain greater confidence to invest in their farms, plan long-term livelihood improvements, and build more stable futures for their families.

In this way, subdivision surveys directly contribute to strengthening rural communities and supporting sustainable agricultural development.

HAPPY 38th CARP ANNIVERSARY!
"Agbiyag ti CARP , Agbiyag ti mannalon"

This June 10, 2026, we celebrate the 38th Anniversary of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), marking the enactment of Republic Act No. 6657 (Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law of 1988) on June 10, 1988. For 38 years, CARP has worked toward a future where Filipino farmers are provided not only with land, but also with opportunities, support services, and hope for a better life.

Today, we honor our agrarian reform beneficiaries and all Filipino farmers whose hard work and perseverance continue to feed our communities and sustain our nation. Behind every harvest is a story of sacrifices and resilience, and an enduring dream for a better future for their families.

In line with this celebration, the Department of Agrarian Reform – Cordillera Administrative Region (DAR-CAR) will hold its Regional Distribution and Turnover Activity on June 25, 2026, in the Province of Kalinga, hosted by the Department of Agrarian Reform – Provincial Office of Kalinga.

Qualified Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) will receive Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs), E-titles, Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage, as well as farm machinery, farm equipment, and farm-to-market road projects.

This meaningful activity reflects the continuing commitment of DAR Cordillera to uplift the lives and improve the livelihoods of Cordilleran farmers. It is a reminder that the work of CARP continues through concrete actions that bring opportunities and support closer to the people it was created to serve.

As we celebrate 38 years of CARP, may we continue to uphold the dignity, welfare, and aspirations of every Filipino farmer, the backbone of our nation. Together, let us move forward with gratitude, hope, and a shared commitment to building stronger and more empowered farming communities.

“Land for the landless, hope for the future.”
