Fisheries Management Area 8

Fisheries Management Area 8 The Fisheries Management Area has 51 municipalities (26 Eastern Visayas; 25 Caraga). FMAs are established through the Fisheries Administrative Order 263.

It is managed by the FMA 8 Management Board members who are provided with technical advice by its Scientific Advisory Group. It is one of the 12 FMAs in the Philippines, a spatial delineation of Philippine waters as a means to manage fisheries at an appropriate scale.
