The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office 8 (PSA-RSSO 8) successfully conducted the Joint Second and Third Level Training on 2026 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS) Data Processing from 17 to 19 August 2026 in Tacloban City. The three-day training was attended by Chief Statistical Specialists, Provincial Focal Persons, Assistant Provincial Focal Persons, and hired Data Processors from the different Provincial Statistics Offices (PSO) in the region.
The training aimed to strengthen the participantsโ knowledge and understanding of the various data processing procedures involved in the 2026 APIS. It focused on key activities such as checking the completeness and consistency of data entries, editing, coding, and data validation, which are essential in transforming collected survey responses into accurate and reliable statistics.
Through the training, participants were equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform data processing tasks and contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of the data generated from the 2026 APIS.
