BOC SUSTAINS STRONG REVENUE PERFORMANCE, COLLECTS ₱664 BILLION FROM JAN-AUG 2026

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) sustained its strong revenue performance, collecting ₱664.776 billion from January to August 2026—the highest collection ever recorded by the Bureau for the first eight months of a year. The amount exceeded its ₱659.309 billion target by ₱5.467 billion, based on the Bureau’s preliminary collection report.

The BOC's collections for the first eight months of the year also recorded a 7% increase, or ₱43.389 billion, compared to the ₱621.387 billion collected during the same period in 2025, reflecting continued growth in revenue generation and effective collection efforts nationwide.

On August 28, 2026, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Tacloban conducted its Local Cascading of the Integrity Action Plan to reaffirm its commitment to effective organizational coordination, alignment, and good governance. The activity focused on cascading the Bureau’s strategic directions, priority programs, and performance expectations to the Port level. The assembly ensured that personnel clearly understood the Bureau’s goals and translated them into concrete and actionable tasks within their respective positions and responsibilities.

Led by 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐓. 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐬, the session also served as a platform for aligning the Port’s operational plans, targets, and key initiatives with the broader objectives of the Bureau. Through the Local Cascading of the Integrity Action Plan, the Port of Tacloban continues to uphold the directives of 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐅. 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐨, strengthening accountability, inter-office coordination, transparency, and a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. This ensures that individual and office-level contributions meaningfully support the achievement of the Bureau’s strategic vision.
