𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁. is the Rotaract Club of Tacloban's flagship three-phase mental health initiative dedicated to promoting psychosocial well-being, strengthening community resilience, and empowering individuals to become compassionate responders during times of crisis and disaster. Through education, capacity-building, and community engagement, this umbrella project seeks to foster a culture of empathy, preparedness, and collective action.

We begin our journey with 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭 – 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 (𝗣𝗙𝗔) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, designed to equip young people with the knowledge and practical skills to provide immediate psychosocial support to individuals experiencing distress during emergencies and crises.

This is only the beginning. As the project unfolds through its succeeding phases, participants and communities will continue to build stronger connections and develop sustainable approaches to protecting mental well-being and fostering resilience.

Welcome to the family, Batch Bagsik!

From their formal induction to their spirited performance and inspiring message from their batch representative, our newest members marked the beginning of their Rotaract journey with energy, courage, and purpose. Their enthusiasm and commitment reflect the bright future of service that lies ahead for the Rotaract Club of Tacloban.

More than a batch name, "Bagsik" embodies the determination to lead with conviction, serve with compassion, and create meaningful impact in the communities we serve. As they take their first steps as Rotaractors, we look forward to witnessing the difference they will make in the years to come.

The evening also featured the introduction of our President-Elect for Rotary Year 2027–2028, a meaningful reminder that leadership in Rotaract is a continuous journey of growth, mentorship, and succession. As we welcome new members into the organization, we also celebrate the future leaders who will carry our mission forward.

A new chapter begins.

With the induction of President Samantha Janikka Bangoy Gosyco, together with her Executive Committee and Board of Directors, the Rotaract Club of Tacloban officially welcomes a new team of leaders committed to advancing service, strengthening fellowship, and creating lasting impact.

As they take on the responsibility of leading the club, we look forward to a year guided by vision, collaboration, and action—transforming ideas into meaningful service and opportunities into lasting change.

Adding inspiration to the evening was a heartfelt musical performance by fellow Rotaractor John Paul Dave Molas, whose talent and passion helped make the celebration even more memorable. His performance served as a reminder that Rotaract is not only a space for service and leadership, but also a community where members are empowered to share their gifts and talents.

| 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐚: 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞

The Rotaract Club of Tacloban successfully conducted Type Kita: Mass Blood Donation Drive, bringing together volunteer donors committed to giving the gift of life. Through this initiative, we continue to promote voluntary blood donation and help strengthen the blood supply available for patients in need of urgent medical care.

This life-saving initiative is spearheaded by the Rotaract Club of Tacloban in partnership with the Eastern Visayas Medical Center Blood Bank, Tacloban City Hospital, Rotary Club of Tacloban, and Bombo Radyo Tacloban. In line with Republic Act 7719, also known as the National Blood Service Act, we aim to help ensure access to a safe and sufficient blood supply for those in need.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor, volunteer, healthcare worker, and partner organization who made this project possible. Your simple act of generosity carries the power to save lives and bring hope to countless families.

Together, we prove that service goes beyond words—it flows through every drop shared for the benefit of others.
