The Office of the City Civil Registry of the City of Tacurong, headed by Acting City Civil Registrar Mr. Ferdinand Mark G. Oroña, MPA, together with its personnel and staff, extends their warmest welcome to the delegation from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), headed by National Statistician Usec. Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, and assisted by PSA Region XII Regional Director Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V, together with the Division Chiefs and Chief Statistical Specialists from four (4) Provincial Statistics Offices, as they conduct a courtesy visit to the Local Civil Registry Office of our city on August 3, 2026 during the celebration of the 75th Araw ng Tacurong.

The courtesy visit serves as a venue to discuss relevant civil registration concerns, ongoing programs, and key initiatives aimed at strengthening the implementation of civil registration services in the locality. It likewise provides an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and collaboration between the Philippine Statistics Authority and the personnel of the Office of the City Civil Registry.

This engagement underscores the shared commitment of the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Local Civil Registry Office to uphold the highest standards of public service through the continuous improvement of civil registration and vital statistics systems.

The said office expresses its sincere appreciation to the PSA delegation for its steadfast support and invaluable contribution to the advancement of civil registration services for the people of the City of Tacurong.

In connection to the Civil Registration Month Celebration this coming month of February 2026 the Kasalan ng Bayan Program of the City Government of Tacurong through the Office of the City Civil Registry will conduct the Kasalan ng Bayan sa Buwan ng Puso 2026 through a Civil Wedding Rite to be officiated by our City Mayor Lina O. Montilla, PhD.
