2nd Interpurok Men and Women's Volleyball League 2023

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Interpurok 2nd SK New Isabela Women's Volleyball League. This exhilarating event will be exclusively organized for nine participating teams representing the vibrant puroks of our beloved community. We cordially invite the enthusiastic and talented young men and women, aged 15-30, to join in this exciting sporting extravaganza.

To ensure fair competition and maximum participation, each purok is required to assemble a team comprising a minimum of six and a maximum of twelve members. Only bonafide residents of Barangay New Isabela will be eligible to participate. As part of the registration process, interested players must provide a photocopy of their Birth Certificate or a Valid ID, and CBMS or Voter's ID or Registration (If Available) to verify their age and to validate their residence within the barangay.

We kindly request all interested teams to submit their team names starting on July 8, 2023, no later than July 12, 2023. For further information and details about this highly anticipated event, interested individuals are encouraged to visit the SK New Isabela Teen Center. The center is conveniently located in close proximity to the Brgy New Isabela Barangay Hall, near the Purok Sampaguita Day Care Center.

We are excited to witness the exceptional athleticism, camaraderie, and sportsmanship that will unfold during the Interpurok Women's Volleyball League. Let us come together as a community, celebrate our rich history, and showcase the exceptional talent of our youth in this thrilling sporting endeavor. Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay New Isabela under the leadership of Hon. Justin Sheene C. Lujero finally graced the selected Puroks of New Isabela, Daisy Zone 2 (Urban), Sampaguita Zone 3 (Tacea), and Purok Yellowbell as the group gave Basketball Boards made of fiber glass for the youth who are fond of playing basketball.

The SK members were all grateful to all of the individuals who helped in putting the basketball boards in their respective areas.

We would like to extend our heartful gratitude to the people who contributed their endless support and effort during the creation and beautification of the community garden of Barangay New Isabela in partnership with the SK Council of New Isabela spearheaded by Hon. Justin Sheene C. Lujero - to the active and energetic Purok Presidents, specially to Bema Dela Cruz, Fe Hiso, Alexander Reyes, Ryan James Madera and to the rest of the members of the federation, and also to the Purok Youth Federation Officers and to the PYA, headed by Raymond Belehiyon, to our friends from Alpha Pitik Group headed by Ruzzel John A. Blaring with the tune of youth, Zavel Band, the Official SK Youth Music Band of Barangay New Isabela proudly performed their highlight set of songs at Magsaysay Food Park, Tacurong City last August 27, 2022.

The free mini-concert had transpired at the performance podium at the said place by the all of the members, the musicians: Pao Dorero, Gian Gevero, Azriel Casador, Renzo Ruña and Theresa Lumacang, together with the melodius vocalists, Bea Dorero, Glory Dela Cruz and Jeckson Zerrudo. The performance promotes the support for the local musicians and artists in our beloved Tacurong City.

Fiery maroons of Barangay New Isabela captivated everybody's attention during the opening ceremony of LNK Sports Festival 2022 at the Tacurong City Grounds last August 10, 2022.

Equipped with the raging desire to be the champ, basketball and volleyball athletes of Brgy. New Isabela flaunts their camaraderie through participating in the parade during the opening ceremony of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2022. Moreover, SK Council headed by Hon. Justin Sheene C. Lujero was present in the said event.

Blaring up the stage with Rivermaya's hit, Awit ng Kabataan, and heating up everyone's libido for live band performances, the official band of SK New Isabela, namely ZAVEL BAND, conquered the stage and placed on the third spot versus the four competing bands of the locality.

Armed with their musical soul, Zavel performed with confidence and energy, while executing their priceless effort during practices and rehearsals.

The official band members who were at the night of the Opening of Linggo ng Kabataan 2022 and performed onstage in the Battle of the Bands were the following: Jullian Paolo Dorero the vocalist on guitar, Gian Gevero on the lead guitar, Jethro Casador on the bass guitar, Renzo Ruña on the rhythm guitar and the resident of Barangay Buenaflor, Vann Arroyo, their enthusiastic drummer. Band leader-coordinator, SK Kagawad Bea Dorero was also present during the performance to manage the group, all throughout the night's event.

The SK Council of New Isabela headed by Hon. Justin Sheene Lujero was at the venue to show support to the winning team, together with the Barangay Council headed by Hon. Jose Juaren A. Javier.

The band will also be performing live during the Lingo ng Kabataan Barangay Level as additional exposure and experience to the young musical souls of the above mentioned youth of Tacurong.

To further celebrate the 71st Tacurong Day "TAC DAY" of the the prime city of Sultan Kudarat, the representative of Barangay New Isabela for the Spoken Word Poetry competition bagged the award as the Champion among the 10 competing barangays who joined the said contest.

Mr. Jayson S. Toralba of Purok Everlasting and the representing contigent of Barangay New Isabela soulfully and expressively enunciated his own spoken word piece which is entitled "SIGAW". This piece pierced the heart and soul of the judges and the audience while artfully emphasizing the imagery of the poem, and its meaning to the present-day social concerns we embark.

Brgy. New Isabela won as Champion, Brgy. Lancheta was the second placer, while Brgy. Rajahmuda bagged the third place, a proof that indeed, Barangay New Isabela is entitled as the Home of the Champions.

Special thanks to the ever supportive Barangay Council of New Isabela headed by Hon. Jose Juaren A. Javier and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. New Isabela, headed by Hon. Justin Sheene C. Lujero with his SK Officials, and SK Kagawad Din Mark Rosal who supported the contestant all throughout the said competition.

The said event was concluded at the Tacurong Cultural Sports Center, this Friday afternoon, August 5, 2022.
