The observance of the official Muslim Holiday, Maulidin Nabi or the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. falls on August 26, 2026.

Therefore, as Sultan Kudarat is among the provinces mandated to observe this Muslim Holiday under Presidential Decree No. 1083, also known as the Code of Muslim Personal Laws of the Philippines, the public is hereby informed that the City Government of Tacurong shall be closed for business on the said date, August 26, except essential services such as the birthing home, People's Dialysis and Diagnostic Center, and emergency response.

Office operations will resume the following day.

Please be guided accordingly.

ADVISORY

IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPRESSED WORKWEEK

In support of employee wellness and work life balance, the City Government of Tacurong will implement a Compressed Workweek for all employees, in accordance with Civil Service Commission guidelines.

Under this arrangement, employees will be grouped and assigned to a four-day workweek. Despite this, all city government offices will continue to operate regularly from Monday to Friday to ensure the continuous delivery of public services.

PUBLIC SERVICE HOURS

Monday to Friday
7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The public may continue to avail of government services during regular public service hours.

Dahil sa patuloy na malalakas na pag-ulan at sa posibilidad ng pagbaha at iba pang weather-related hazards sa ilang bahagi ng lalawigan, suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas, parehong public at private schools, ngayong araw.

Ang hakbang na ito ay isinagawa bilang pag-iingat upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel.

To protect our learners, teachers, at school communities, we have officially issued Executive Order No. 153, Series of 2026, suspending classes in all levels, both public and private schools, today, July 23, 2026.

The decision follows the latest PAGASA advisory on the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Depression "KIYAPO," bringing persistent rains and increasing the threat of flooding in parts of the province.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and work hand in hand with our local government units and response agencies to ensure the safety of every community.

Classes can always continue another day. Safety cannot wait.
