The City Government of Tacurong, under the leadership of Mayor Lina O. Montilla, successfully conducted the Dalangpan sang Katilingban: City Hall sa Barangay 2.0 program in Barangay Kalandagan on May 14, 2026, at the Barangay Hall Gymnasium. The whole-day outreach initiative delivered a wide range of essential government services directly to the community, reinforcing the city administrationโs commitment to inclusive public service and grassroots governance. Residents were given convenient access to medical checkups, pamamahagi ng gamot, social welfare assistance, agricultural support services, veterinary care for alagang hayop, skills registration, employment opportunities, and many other programs designed to uplift the welfare of local constituents.
The Dalangpan sang Katilingban initiative highlighted the importance of bringing government closer to the people, particularly to communities where accessibility to public services may pose challenges. Through this people-centered program, hundreds of residents benefited from efficient and immediate assistance without the need to travel far from their barangay.
