27th Mountain Province Provincial Scout Jamboree Held in Tadian

TADIAN, Mountain Province — The 27th Mountain Province Provincial Scout Jamboree was held at Am-am National High School, on December 4-7, 2025, gathering enthusiastic Scouts from various districts across the province. The event marked one of the largest annual assemblies of young Scouts, all eager to learn, explore, and strengthen camaraderie. Scouts representing multiple districts of Mountain Province arrived early to participate in the multi-day event, showcasing unity, discipline, and shared purpose.
The event was graced by Jade A. Malicdan, the 1st Council Eagle Scout of the Mountain Province Council, whose presence served as an inspiration to the participants. The program was further strengthened by the unwavering support and attendance of key stakeholders, including the Office of the Congressman, the Office of the Governor, the MLGU–Tadian, the PNP, the BFP, and other partner agencies, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration and community commitment.
The Jamboree featured a wide range of activities grouped into four comprehensive modules designed to enrich both skills and character.
Module 1: Skills and Basic Scouting Participants engaged in hands-on sessions, including:
• Compass Reading
• Ballroom Dancing
• Electricity
• Lashing and Splicing
• Fire Building
• Knot Tying
• First Aid with Bandaging
• Flag Signaling
These activities aimed to develop survival skills, coordination, problem-solving, and practical knowledge essential to every Scout.
Module 2: Scouting Ideals and Traditions To deepen their understanding of Scouting values, Scouts took part in:
• Pinoy Games
• Scout Ideals
• Scout Oath and Law
• Scout Handshake
• Scout Salute
• Scout Motto
• Fancy Drill
• Smartness & Good Order
This module reinforced discipline, patriotism, respect, and the enduring tradition of honor within the Scouting movement.
Module 3: Culture and Performances Cultural appreciation and creativity shone in activities such as:
• Pattong
• Takik
• Eagle Dance
• Band Demonstration
These cultural performances celebrated indigenous heritage and promoted pride in local identity.
Module 4: Adventure and Challenge High-energy outdoor challenges included:
• Challenge Valley
• Monkey Bridge
• Commando Bridge
• Slide for Life
• Obstacle Course
These activities built courage, resilience, teamwork, and confidence—core attributes for growing leaders.
The BFP, PNP, MLGU-Tadian MDRRMO, and SDO-MP Medics actively monitored the event areas to ensure safety, preparedness, and accuracy in the conduct of all activities. Their presence provided assurance to parents and participants that the Jamboree prioritized well-being at every stage.
Beyond the excitement and adventure, the Provincial Scout Jamboree played an important role in shaping children and youth into responsible, skilled, and value-driven individuals. Through discipline, cooperation, cultural appreciation, and practical training, the event molded future leaders who embodied service, resilience, and integrity.
The Jamboree continued to inspire Mountain Province’s young Scouts—helping them build memories, friendships, and skills that would last a lifetime.
