TSAT'S BRIGADA UPDATE‼️‼️
June 4-5, 2026
The spirit of unity, cooperation, and volunteerism continued to shine brightly during the fourth and fifth day of Brigada Eskwela, proving that even challenging weather conditions could not hinder the commitment of teachers, parents, stakeholders, and community volunteers in preparing the school for the opening of classes. Guided by the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” where participants remained steadfast in their shared mission of creating a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment.
Despite intermittent rains and unfavorable weather, volunteers continued various improvement and maintenance activities throughout the school campus. One of the major accomplishments was the construction of a shade leading to BEFF 1. Through the collective efforts of dedicated volunteers, the structure gradually took shape, providing future protection and convenience for learners and school personnel, especially during rainy and sunny days.
In addition, teams worked tirelessly in cleaning and declogging drainage systems around the school grounds. This important undertaking aimed to prevent flooding and ensure proper water flow during the rainy season. Volunteers braved muddy surroundings and wet conditions, demonstrating their willingness to contribute their time and energy for the welfare of the school community.
Weeding and general cleaning activities also continued despite the weather challenges. Overgrown grasses were cleared, pathways were cleaned, and school surroundings were maintained to promote cleanliness, safety, and environmental stewardship. Inside the classrooms, teachers and volunteers worked hand in hand in cleaning rooms, arranging learning spaces, and preparing facilities to create a welcoming atmosphere for learners.
The repair of chairs and other classroom furniture likewise remained a priority. Through teamwork and resourcefulness, damaged chairs were restored and made ready for use, ensuring that students would have adequate and functional learning resources when classes begin. Other minor repairs and maintenance works such as cleaning and sealing of gutters, signage maintenance, and handrails painting were also completed, further enhancing the school's readiness for the new academic year.
Continuation of physical examination for enrollees were acvomplished during the day as enrollment ia still ongoing.
Beyond the physical accomplishments achieved during these two days, the true success of Brigada Eskwela was evident in the unwavering spirit of bayanihan displayed by everyone involved. The determination to continue working despite the rain reflected a deep sense of responsibility, cooperation, and commitment to education. Every cleaned classroom, repaired chair, cleared drainage, and newly constructed shade stood as a testament to what can be accomplished when a community works together toward a common goal.
As Brigada Eskwela progresses, the school extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, stakeholders, parents, and partners who generously shared their time, skills, and resources. Their dedication serves as a powerful reminder that quality education begins with a united community.
