Yesterday, the youths of Tadian took a powerful step towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable world. Their eco walk wasn’t just a journey through nature, but a walk towards a better future. Together, they made a visible difference by cleaning up, removing litter, and restoring its natural beauty.

A special highlight was the rescue demo on drowning incident activity, where participants learned valuable skills on various ways to rescue a drowning victim. Whether it was understanding how to safely handle an active or passive victim and assess wether to dive in and rescue or ask for professional help, the knowledge gained yesterday will help the youth to protect and preserve our environment and save lives.

🌿 **Key Highlights:**
- Eco Walk & Clean-up Drive: The youth participants began their walk at the Cagubatan Barangay Hall, heading up to Mount Mogao and then descending to Mogao Splash. Equipped with sacks and bolos, they picked up trash along the way and cleared the path of weeds.

- Rescue Demo: A rescue demonstration was conducted at Mogao Splash, facilitated by BFP CAR Tadian Fire Station and Sir William Wap Jr. from MDRRMO. The participants learned proper and safe techniques for rescuing a drowning person. The facilitators also provided basic swimming lessons to those who didn't know how to swim. The key technique emphasized was assess the situation and the 'REACH, THROW, ROW, GO.'

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible enthusiasm and dedication of organizers, facilitators, hosts and participants.
To Barangay Cagubatan headed by Hon. Martin Ladino and SK Chairperson Jenny Polawes, thank you for your warm welcome and great accommodations.
To Bfp Car Tadian FS, thank you for sharing your expertise and always supporting the activities of the youth.
To Tadian Mps, thank you for your assistance.
To MDRRM Office, thank you for helping us facilitate this event.
To MSWD Office, thank you for always including the youth in your programs.
To all the SK Chairpersons of the 19 barangays of Tadian, thank you for calling up the kabtaan in your barangays to actively participate in such activities.
To the SK Municipal Federation Council and LYDO Designate, thank you for your efforts in making this event possible.
To Tadian LGU headed by Mayor Constito S. Masweng, thank you for your support in this activity.

Your commitment to youth building is inspiring, and together, we’ve shown that every small action contributes to a larger impact.

Thank you to everyone who participated! Let’s continue to carry forward the lessons we’ve learned today. Every step we take, every piece of trash we pick up, and every animal we help rescue brings us closer to a more sustainable world.
