WATER SERVICE ADVISORY

Taft Water District would like to inform all consumers that we are currently experiencing a water supply shortage. As a result, some areas, particularly those located at the far end of the distribution system and in elevated locations, are experiencing low to no water supply.

This condition is primarily due to the lack of rainfall, which is necessary to replenish our groundwater sources. Since our water supply depends on groundwater, reduced rainwater significantly affects source recovery and overall system capacity.

To help address this, we will be implementing a water supply scheduling scheme on a pilot basis.

IMPLEMENTATION (Pilot Testing): Water Supply Scheduling

Affected Area: Barangay Dacul

⛔ No Water Service: 8:30 PM – 12:00 Midnight

Purpose:To increase water pressure and ensure supply to areas beyond Taft Bridge and Barangay Nato.

⚠️ Schedule may change depending on results.

Last February 9–11, 2026, the Taft Water District joined fellow water districts across the Visayas in a collaborative workshop focused on future-proofing operations.

The activity highlighted strategies to strengthen budgeting, enhance financial sustainability, and improve administrative systems in preparation for evolving challenges in the water sector.

Through knowledge-sharing and coordination, the workshop reinforced the commitment of water districts to deliver efficient, resilient, and reliable service to the communities they serve. 💧

📌 RAFFLE MECHANICS

1️⃣ This raffle is open to all active concessionaires of Taft Water District (TWD).

2️⃣ Eligible raffle entries:

Official Receipt for your current water bill payment.

3️⃣ Only payments for March 2026 water bill qualify.
👉 Only current water bill payments will be accepted.

4️⃣ Write your full name, signature, and contact number at the back of your raffle entry and drop it in the designated drop box at the TWD Office.

5️⃣ Deadline of submission of entries: March 20, 2026
📅 Raffle Draw: March 23, 2026
📍 Venue: TWD Office

6️⃣ All drawn entries will be verified by TWD Management.
⚠️ Disconnected accounts at the time of the draw are automatically disqualified.

7️⃣ Winners will be notified through the contact number indicated.
🎁 Prizes not claimed within thirty (30) days will be forfeited in favor of TWD.

8️⃣ Winners must present a valid ID to claim their prize.
Only the account holder whose name appears on the Statement of Account or Official Receipt may claim the prize.

If the name written at the back differs from the account name, TWD will require:

A written authorization from the account holder

Valid ID of the account holder

9️⃣ Members of the Board of Directors and employees of TWD are disqualified from joining the raffle.
