The Municipality of Tagana-an successfully conducted the Nutri-Quiz and Nutri-Poster Making Contest 2026 as part of the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebrationwith the theme:

"Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan."

This activity was made possible through the effort of our very own Municipal Mayor and Municipal Nutrition Committee Chairman Hon. Cesar Ian B. Diaz, our Legislative body headed by our supportive Vice Mayor Hon. Cesar B. Diaz Jr, MNC Members, Mr. Sandae M. Patagan our MSWDO through the Gender and Development, Tagana-an Primary Care Facility lead by Dr. Manuel James S. Libres and PHN Ma. Teresa A. Eviota, MNAO staffs and Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Provincial DOH SDN Office through our NHWSS Registered Nutritionist and Dietician , HR Office and the Deped Family of Tagana-an District.

Five (5) secondary schools from the Municipality of Tagana-an proudly participated in this meaningful activity, showcasing their knowledge, creativity, and commitment to promoting proper nutrition and environmental stewardship.

FIRST FLAG RAISING CEREMONY FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2026

The Local Government Unit of Tagana-an conducted its First Flag Raising Ceremony for the month of August, attended by Hon. Cesar Ian B. Diaz, Municipal Mayor, Hon. Mercy B. Benedicto and Hon. Maxuel E. Jusain-Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with the municipal employees.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Atty. Alvin Prandy T. Canta, SDN COMELEC Provincial Director, who gave an inspiring message to LGU officials and employees on the right of suffrage and the upcoming Barangay and SK Elections on November 2, 2026.

This activity reaffirms the LGUโ€™s commitment to patriotism, good governance, and voter awareness as we start the new month.

Ang matag benepisyaryo makadawat og โ‚ฑ3,000.00, nga magamit alang sa ilang tambal, pagkaon, ug uban pang adlaw-adlaw nga panginahanglanon.

The Local Government Unit of Tagana-an successfully celebrated the 52nd Nutrition Month Culmination Program with the theme, "Nutrition at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan."

The celebration highlighted the importance of promoting proper nutrition while protecting and preserving our environment.

One of the highlights of the activity was the distribution of Nutrition Bags to daycare children enrolled in the public daycare centers of Tagana-an, providing them with nutritious food items to support their health and development.

Another highlight was the Nutri Booth Contest, where barangays proudly showcased locally produced products, promoting healthy, sustainable, and environment-friendly food choices within the community.

The activity was attended by barangay officials and municipal officials led by Hon. Mayor Cesar Ian B. Diaz and Vice Mayor Cesar B. Diaz Jr., whose presence demonstrated the local government's continued support for nutrition and community development initiatives.

The celebration was spearheaded by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Municipal Nutrition Action Office (MNAO), in collaboration with the different barangays and stakeholders.

As the municipality concludes this year's Nutrition Month celebration, the LGU of Tagana-an reaffirms its commitment to promoting proper nutrition, protecting the environment, and building a healthier and more resilient community for all.

The Kapitolyo Serbisyo Caravan, led by Governor Robert Lyndon S. Barbers, brought essential government services closer to all Tagana-anons.

The LGU of Tagana-an, headed by Municipal Mayor Cesar Ian B. Diaz, Vice Mayor Cesar B. Diaz, Jr., and the Sangguniang Bayan Members, together with the Barangay Captains, expressed full support for the caravan through their presence and active participation.
