Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III engaged in a dialogue with key Bohol municipal heads and local officials to discuss strategic interventions, upcoming infrastructure projects, and comprehensive support services for agrarian reform communities across the province on July 28, 2026.
The dialogue provided the agency with first-hand insights, ground-level needs, and updates on the current state of agrarian reform within local communities. Discussions focused on strategic interventions, such as proposed Farm-to-Market Roads (FMRs), rural infrastructure, farm machinery, and sustainable livelihood support, aimed at enhancing productivity and improving the living conditions of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).
Local officials in attendance included Mayor Atty. Esther Patrisha V. Chatto and SB Member Maria Pureza V. Chatto of Balilihan; Mayor Marlon R. Amila of Tubigon; Mayor Benjie S. Oliva of Catigbian; Mayor Ian Gil G. Mendez of San Miguel; and Mayor Atty. Roberto C. Cajes alongside former Mayor Judith R. Cajes of Trinidad.
Also joining the engagement were Mayor Asuncion B. Ybaรฑez of Sagbayan; Mayor Atty. Diosdado N. Gementiza, Jr. of San Isidro; Mayor Jose Mario J. Pahang of Antequera; and Mayor Dave D. Duallo of Buenavista.
Accompanying Sec Conrado Estrella III were DAR Region VII Regional Director Melvin Castor V. Silvestre and Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Dr. Ronald I. Pumatong.
