The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Center for Culture and Arts Development (CCAD), in partnership with the National Museum of the PhilippinesβBohol, officially opened Pabuhagay Tres: Padayon sa Pag-usbong on June 14, 2026, showcasing the creative works of 15 q***r Boholano artists as part of the provinceβs Pride Month celebration.
Now in its third year, the exhibition highlights the theme βPadayon sa Pag-usbongβ (Continuing to Grow), reflecting the ongoing journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and artistic expression within the LGBTQIA+ community. The exhibit serves as a platform for artists to share their identities, stories, and perspectives while promoting inclusivity through the arts.
Representing Governor Aris Aumentado, Vice Governor Nick Besas reaffirmed the provincial governmentβs commitment to fostering a more inclusive society and empowering diverse sectors through meaningful platforms for expression and engagement.
Organized in partnership with the Bohol Pop Contemporary Visual Artists Group, the exhibit forms part of the Sandugo sa Bohol 2026 festivities and will run until July 4, 2026.
The initiative aligns with the PGBhβs Strategic Change Agenda on Cultural Heritage, promoting inclusive spaces that celebrate artistic excellence, cultural diversity, and creative expression among Boholanos in the province, a UNESCO Global Geopark.
