The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), led by Governor Aris Aumentado, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA), continues to strengthen aquaculture production and livelihood opportunities for Boholano fisherfolk and farmers.

The San Miguel Tilapia Growers Association recorded its third successful harvest on August 21, 2026, producing 980 kilograms of tilapia valued at approximately ₱103,000 from its High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) fish cage at the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Dam in Bayongan, San Miguel.
