The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), conducted a Community Organizing–Community Development (CO-CD) Training for its field and office workers from October 29 to 31, 2025, as part of its ongoing effort to enhance the skills and community engagement abilities of Boholano associations, organizations, and cooperatives.

The three-day training acted as a capacity-building refresher designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed for effective grassroots organizing and sustainable community development.

Participants covered six core modules: Effective Communication, Understanding Community Dynamics, Conducting Community Needs Assessments, Community-Based Leadership and Team Building, Leadership Identification and Mobilization, and Conflict Management and Resolution.

Additional sessions on Gender and Development, Environmental Management and Protection, and Mental Health Awareness further enriched the program, ensuring a comprehensive approach to leadership and community work.

This initiative supports the Capitol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap, promoting an empowered and capable workforce dedicated to inclusive and sustainable development across Bohol’s communities.

In celebration of Civil Service Month, the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) recognized the outstanding athletes from various clusters who emerged victorious in the friendly yet spirited ball games.

The Development Administration Cluster dominated this year’s competitions, claiming championships in table tennis (men’s doubles and mixed doubles), lawn tennis (mixed doubles), and badminton (men’s doubles and mixed doubles).

The Finance Cluster secured the top spot in lawn tennis (men’s doubles), while the Social Environmental Cluster triumphed in men's basketball and badminton (women’s doubles). Meanwhile, the Health Cluster ruled the women’s volleyball division, and the Legislative Cluster proved their strength in volleyball men’s.

More than a showcase of athletic prowess, the games embodied camaraderie, wellness, and teamwork among government employees—values deeply aligned with PGBh’s Strategic Governance Roadmap toward building a purpose-driven and people-centered provincial workforce.
