Manatiling kalmado at huwag mag-panic.
Lumabas sa gusali kung ito ay may bitak o hindi ligtas.
Huwag gumamit ng elevator, gumamit ng hagdanan kung kinakailangang bumaba.
I-check ang mga sugatan at magbigay ng paunang lunas kung kinakailangan.
Iwasan ang mga lugar na maaaring gumuho tulad ng lumang pader, poste, o landslide-prone areas.
Makinig sa opisyal na anunsyo mula sa LGU, MDRRMO, o PDRRMO para sa tamang impormasyon.
Maghanda ng go-bag na may laman na tubig, pagkain, flashlight, gamot, at iba pang pangangailangan.
Maging alerto sa aftershocks at lumikas kung kinakailangan.
