Sa Bohol Chocolate Farm atong matilawan ang lami-an ug tam-is nga tsokolate nga usa ka lokal nga produkto sulod sa Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark.

Ang Bohol Chocolate Farm usa ka maayong ehemplo sa agri-tourism sa Bohol, ang mga bisita dili lang makakita sa mga tanom nga cacao, hinoon ilang masinati ang tibuok proseso sa paghimo og tsokolate gikan sa seedling ngadto sa lamian nga chocolate treats.

Aris Aumentado, ang pagpangandam alang sa Measles-Rubella Supplementary Immunization Activity (MRSIA) karong Agosto 10 hangtod 28, 2026.Pinaagi sa Provincial Health Office (PHO), DOH-Bohol, ug mga LGUs, palapdan ang pagpamakuna sa mga fixed ug temporary sites hangtod sa lebel sa barangay ug purok aron masiguro ang panglawas sa kabataang Bol-anon ubos sa Strategic Change Agenda sa Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark. 💉👶

Health officials highlighted preparations for the upcoming Measles-Rubella Supplementary Immunization Activity (MRSIA) during the August 7 episode of The Capitol Reports at the New Provincial Capitol, as Bohol continues to strengthen child health protection through nationwide intensified immunization efforts.

This was after the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, through the Provincial Health Office (PHO), in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH)–Bohol and local government units, is preparing for the MRSIA scheduled on August 10 to 28 across municipalities and communities in the province.

Health officials emphasized the importance of reaching eligible children through fixed and temporary vaccination sites, strengthened information campaigns, and community-based health initiatives down to the barangay and purok levels.

The campaign also highlights the need to address vaccine misinformation and encourage parents to seek timely medical care for children showing symptoms of measles and rubella.

The initiative supports the commitment of the PGBh to safeguard the health and well-being of Boholano children by ensuring access to safe and effective vaccines, strengthening disease prevention measures, and building stronger community immunity.

As part of the Strategic Change Agenda pillars on Health, Good Governance, and Human Development, the Ligtas Tigdas Campaign advances the vision of a healthier, more resilient, and future-ready Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark, where protecting communities goes hand in hand with preserving the province's natural and cultural heritage.

The Provincial Government of Bohol is urging parents to have their children aged 6 to 59 months vaccinated against measles and rubella to protect them from preventable diseases and strengthen community immunity.

Governor Aris Aumentado encouraged families to visit the nearest temporary or permanent vaccination site, emphasizing that "Vaccination and Protection of Every Child is Our Responsibility."

Bohol continues to demonstrate strong financial sustainability through transparent and prudent fiscal management.

This was after the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, announced that the province has four billion pesos general fund.

Provincial Treasurer Eustaquio Socorin disclosed the financial milestone during the provincial flag ceremony at the Capitol Grounds on August 3, 2026.

To maximize public funds, the Provincial Government temporarily placed 4 billion pesos in a high-yield savings account, which is expected to generate 40 million to 50 million pesos in annual interest to support priority public services, infrastructure, and development programs.

This milestone is credited to clean governance, fiscal integrity, and sound budget management practices implemented under the current administration.

This financial stability also reinforces the priorities of the Strategic Governance Roadmap, ensuring responsible resource allocation for resilient governance and inclusive growth across Bohol, a UNESCO Global Geopark.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has requested augmentation funds to complete the repairs and remaining works on the access road leading to Bato Bridge in Maribojoc, Bohol, after road settlement caused by high tides and possible liquefaction.

While awaiting additional funding, DPWH said protective measures have been implemented, including elevated road sections reinforced with grouted riprap and sheet piles, while the contractor has started repair works at its own expense to ensure public safety and road accessibility.
