HEROISM LIVES BEYOND THE HISTORY BOOKS

As we commemorate National Heroes Day, the CGSO family pauses to remember the Filipinos whose courage and sacrifice helped shape the country we know today. Their stories remind us that loving our country is not always about doing something extraordinary. Sometimes, it is found in choosing integrity over convenience and doing our responsibilities with a sense of purpose.

For us in government service, one way of honoring our heroes is to make our own work meaningful—to serve honestly, care for the community, and leave something better for those who come after us. Today, we remember the heroes of our past—and reflect on the kind of service we can give today.
