Ang DA-AMIA Caraga nagpahinumdom ilabi na sa mga mag-uuma ug mangingisda nga magbantay sa kusog nga ulan, hangin, ug pagbaha hinungdan sa Tropical Storm (TS) 'Basyang.'

▶️ Base sa February 5, 2026 5:00 AM advisory sa DOST-PAGASA, ang sentro sa TS Basyang nahimutang 440 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

▶️ Ang bagyo nagdala og hangin nga moabot sa 65 kp/h ug gikusgon nga 80 kp/h paingon sa west southwestward nga adunay 15 km/h ang dagan.

▶️ Sa Caraga region, nakataas sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 ang Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, ug Surigao del Sur.

▶️ Samtang TCWS No. 1 ang Dinagat Islands.

🌾 Isip pagpangandam sa bagyo, mas labing maayo nga magsiguro sa mga binhi, materyales, mga makinarya, ug mga binuhi sa umahan.

🐟 Alang sa mga mangingisda, magsiguro sa mga binuhing isda, fish cage, fish pond, ug mga bangka. Mamahimong mugamit sa mga ekwipo ug pasilidad alang sa mas epektibong pagpangandam.

✅Palit lang og manok/itik/langgam, feeds, ug gamit gikan sa kasaligan ug rehistrado nga suppliers.

✅I-quarantine ang bag-ong manok/itik/langgam ayha isagol sa daan nga panon.

✅Kanunay limpyohan ug i-disinfect ang farm, koral, ug ekipo.

✅Dili pasudlon sa umahan ang dili awtorisadong bisita.

✅Shower-in, shower-out para sa tanang bisita.

✅Magbutang og nets ug koral aron malikayan ang taga-gawas nga langgam ug peste.

✅Kung adunay kalit nga sakit o kamatayon sa inyong mga manok nga walay klarong hinungdan i-report dayon sa inyong Municipal Agriculture Office, City Veterinary Office, o Provincial Veterinary Office.

📌Magpakabana ug makighiusa aron masiguro nga ang poultry industry sa Caraga luwas sa bird flu o avian influenza.

Together we achieved. Together we plan!

Tagbina Research and Experiment Station recently conducted its year-end assessment to celebrate the successful accomplishment of its 2025 target deliverables and to strategically map its forward-looking plans for 2026.

While 2025 has presented significant challenges that tested our capacity and impacted some of our target services and intervention, it also taught us valuable lessons on resilience and adaptability.

With the team's unwavering commitment and collective efforts, we not only met our goals but also strengthened our foundation for better government services.

As we close a chapter of remarkable perseverance, we look ahead with renewed energy and clarity. The plans laid for 2026 are big, but our confidence is greater. We are excited to translate our strategies into action, driving greater impact and innovation in the year ahead.

The Tagbina Research and Experiment Station proudly extends its warmest congratulations to the eight immersion students from the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) on their successful completion of the 240-hour Industry Immersion Program.

These students, currently pursuing their Bachelor's degree in Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) with a specialization in Agri-Fishery Arts, demonstrated remarkable commitment and enthusiasm throughout their training. During their immersion, they actively engaged in the station’s diverse research and production activities, gaining hands-on experience in modern agricultural practices, sustainable farming management, and research for development.

They worked hard, learned new skills, and are now better prepared for their future careers. We’re proud of their dedication and wish them success in their journey ahead!

Every friday at 3pm onwards, employees will enjoy exciting ball games and wellness activities, fostering teamwork, fitness, and work-life balance. This event runs from July to December 2025.

The Tagbina Research and Experiment Station is ready for a bright new chapter as it welcomes its new Officer-In-Charge, Mr. Jekem D. Sanchez, Senior Agriculturist.

The turnover ceremony was led by Mr. Geovanie D. Jabagat, Senior Science Research Specialist, who served as the outgoing OIC. A heartfelt thank you, Sir Van, for your dedication and leadership!
