📚✨ Strengthening Families, Empowering Communities! ✨📚

On May 19–21, 2026, our MPO Designate is one of the Misamis Oriental Training Specialist on Learning Package on Parent Education (LPPED). The activity was attended by Parent Educators and advocates from LGU- Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental who gathered at The Spot, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.

For three days, participants deepened their knowledge and enhanced their facilitation skills in delivering parent education programs that promote positive parenting, strengthen family relationships, and support the holistic development of children and adolescents.

Together, we continue to champion stronger families as the foundation of a more resilient and empowered society.

This April and May 2026, we successfully conducted our Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counselling Session for 24 couples, guiding couples as they prepare for married life through meaningful discussions on family life, communication, responsible parenthood, and shared values.

The session provided a safe and supportive space for couples to reflect, ask questions, and gain practical insights to help them build healthy, respectful, and lasting relationships. We thank all participating couples for their openness and willingness to grow together as they take this important step in their journey. ✨

Municipal Population and Development Office Designate Yulibelle Lou Q. Agbu and MPO Staff Angel A. Cañares actively participated in the Writeshop for the Development of the Teen Center Manual of Operations held at C Resort, Libertad, Misamis Oriental from May 4–7, 2026.

The activity was organized by the Commission on Population and Development Region X headed by Regional Director 𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐆. 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚, and gathered selected community-based and school-based youth leaders, teen center managers, and coordinators across the region.

The writeshop highlighted the importance of creating a unified and responsive framework for Teen Center operations to better serve adolescents and young people both in school and in community. Through collaborative discussions, planning sessions, and the sharing of best practices, participants contributed valuable ideas toward strengthening youth development programs and ensuring more effective, organized, and youth-friendly services for future implementation.
