Tagoloan Public Market Update‼️

The new public toilet at Tagoloan Public Market will be opened for public use this week earlier than planned because the old toilet needs to be demolished to allow the construction of more tables.

Ocular inspection was made by Municipal Engineer Eric Ragandang, MEEDO head Maristel Emano, and Market Supervisor Bernadith Raiz today December 16, 2025.

The Market Admin Office will also be transferred to the new building.

The Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office, headed by Ms. Maristel Emano, in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office led by Mr. Roy Pagtalunan, successfully conducted a Meat Safety and Proper Meat Handling Seminar Nov 17, 2025 at Tagoloan Dome.

We were honored to have resource persons from the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) Region 10:
• Dr. Jess Recososa, Senior Meat Control Officer
• Ms. Shu Jaramillo, Meat Inspector III

The seminar was actively participated in by meat business owners and handlers from Tagoloan, who gained valuable knowledge on ensuring safe, clean, and quality meat for the community.

A big thank you to all the participants and partners who made this activity meaningful and productive!

MEETING WITH TAGOLOAN VENDORS
at the Eco Food Park, Tagoloan Public Plaza

The Municipal Economic Enterprise and Development Office (MEEDO) headed by Ms. Maristel E. Emano convened a meeting with the Tagoloan vendors to discuss important updates and policies related to sanitation, environmental protection, and tourism management among others within the public plaza eco food park area.

Resource persons during the meeting included:

🌱 Ms. Jing Rodriguez, representing the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO)

The discussion emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness, compliance with environmental and sanitation standards, and promoting a vibrant and orderly food and tourism environment for Tagoloan.
