Nakiisa ang DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG) Tagoloan sa paggunita ng Ika-128 Araw ng Kalayaan ngayong Hunyo 12, 2026, bilang pagpupugay sa kagitingan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng ating mga bayani na nagbigay-daan sa kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay paalala sa bawat lingkod-bayan na patuloy na maglingkod nang may integridad, malasakit, at dedikasyon para sa kapakanan ng mamamayan. Kasabay nito, muling pinagtitibay ng DILG Tagoloan ang pangako nitong isulong ang mabuting pamamahala, mapayapang pamayanan, at mahusay na paghahatid ng mga serbisyong pampubliko.

Sa diwa ng kalayaan, nananatiling katuwang ang DILG Tagoloan sa pagtataguyod ng mga programang naglalayong mapabuti ang buhay ng bawat mamamayan at makapag-ambag sa pagbuo ng isang mas matatag at maunlad na Bagong Pilipinas.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Tagoloan successfully conducted the Reorientation on the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) and Conduct of Inventory of Barangay and SK Properties, Financial Records, and Documents on June 11, 2026, at Paulaโ€™s Hotel, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The activity gathered the Punong Barangays, Barangay Secretaries, Barangay Treasurers, and SK Chairpersons of the Municipality of Tagoloan to enhance their understanding of the SGLGB assessment criteria and reinforce the importance of proper inventory, turnover, and management of barangay and SK properties, financial records, and official documents.

Municipal Mayor Atty. Nadya Emano-Elipe graced the activity and delivered an inspirational message highlighting the vital role of transparency, accountability, and integrity in fostering effective local governance and responsive public service.

The activity also served as a venue to strengthen the commitment of barangay and SK officials toward good governance practices and compliance with established policies and standards.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Tagoloan, through the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Tagoloan, conducted the Joint Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) Full Council Meeting for the 2nd Quarter of the year at Paulaโ€™s Hotel, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The activity was led by Municipal Mayor Atty. Nadya B. Emano-Elipe, together with Vice Mayor Rolando Seno and MLGOO Maria Nilda C. Veloso. The meeting was attended by representatives from various local and national government agencies, as well as members of different Civil Society Organizations. It served as a venue for the discussion of programs, measures, and initiatives aimed at strengthening peace and order, and sustaining safety and security in the municipality of Tagoloan.

LGU-TAGOLOAN AMONG BENEFICIARIES OF THE GREEN GREEN GREEN PROGRAM

The Local Government Unit of Tagoloan and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) formally conducted the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing for the Green Green Green Program on June 3, 2026, at the Tagoloan Dome Conference Room.

The program aims to enhance public open spaces and promote sustainable urban development by creating greener, safer, and more accessible community areas. Among its key components is the improvement of the municipal plaza, which serves as a venue for recreation, social interaction, and community engagement. The initiative is also expected to support local economic activities, particularly those of small vendors and entrepreneurs.

The activity was attended by officials from DHSUD, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Barangay Officials, and Regional Director Bruce A. Colao of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). DILG Tagoloan, together with the different LGU focal persons and department heads of LGU Tagoloan, actively participated in the Crisis Management Committee Orientation facilitated by DILG Region 10 headed by Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) Chief Hazel L. Occeรฑa, in coordination with Tagoloan Municipal Mayor Atty. Nadya B. Emano-Elipe, Sangguniang Bayan Member Ely Naz Factura, and ABC President Kapitan Elmo Ragandang, held at the Tagoloan Dome Conference Room.

The activity was attended by heads and personnel from various offices of the Local Government Unit of Tagoloan, as well as representatives from different government agencies such as the PNP Region 10, BFP Region 10, and personnel from the PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority. The orientation aimed to strengthen the municipalityโ€™s preparedness and response capability in handling Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Simulation Exercises in line with disaster risk reduction and management initiatives.

Moreover, the orientation served as a venue for strengthening inter-agency coordination, collaboration, and clarifying the roles of each office in ensuring effective crisis management and public safety. Through this initiative, the Municipality of Tagoloan continues to uphold its commitment to building a safer, more prepared, and resilient community for all constituents.
