Bukod dito, pinarangalan din ang mga residente na nagpakita ng magandang halimbawa sa kanilang kapwa bilang Top 5 sa Note of Kindness, Resident of the Month, at Cleanest Dorm of the Month. 🏆👏

💙💛 Maraming salamat sa ating mga in-house teachers na sina Ma’am Sheila at Ma’am Joy sa pangunguna at pag-oorganisa ng makabuluhang palatuntunang ito, gayundin sa lahat ng BPA staff at mga tumulong upang maging matagumpay ang selebrasyon. 🤗👏

👨‍👩‍👦 Sa aming mga magulang at tagapag-alaga, maraming salamat sa patuloy ninyong suporta, pagmamahal, at pag-alalay sa inyong mga anak. ❤️

🌱 PARENTS IN FOCUS: POSITIVE DISCIPLINE 💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

On August 21, 2026, Bahay Pag-Asa conducted its Parents in Focus session at the BPA Grounds, with 65 parents and carers in attendance. ✨

The session was facilitated by Ma’am Maricon Pangilinan, a Social Worker at BPA, with support from BPA staff. Sir Michael Angel Lou Benedicto, a Psychometrician, discussed the importance of Positive Discipline—guiding children with patience, understanding, consistency, and respect. 🤗❤️

After the discussion, Ma’am Maricon facilitated a meaningful group activity: “Paraan ng Pagdidisiplina ng Magulang Ko Noon, Paraan ng Pagdidisiplina Ko sa Aking Anak Ngayon, at Nakakatulong Ba Ito sa Aking Anak? Bakit?” 💭

Through sharing and reflection, parents were encouraged to examine their own parenting practices and discover more positive ways to guide their children. 🌱🫶

🙏 Maraming salamat to all the BPA staff who helped make the activity successful, and to our 65 parents and carers for their active participation and commitment to becoming better parents. 💙

🙏 Spiritual & Values Formation

Despite the bad weather, our Spiritual and Values Formation activities continue at Bahay Pag-Asa. 🌧️❤️

Yesterday, August 18, 2026, Pastors Eden and Ben shared an important session on Positive Discipline and Self-Government, helping our residents understand the importance of self-control, responsibility, making good choices, and managing their actions and emotions—essential values in their journey toward positive change and rehabilitation. 🌱

As the Bible reminds us: “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” – Proverbs 25:28 📖✨

May our residents continue to learn, reflect, and grow into responsible individuals who can make better choices for themselves and others. 🙏💙

🌧️ BPA Staff Meeting

Despite the bad weather, the BPA Staff Meeting was successfully conducted on August 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the BPA Conference Room, facilitated by the Security Force Team Leaders. 💪🤝

The meeting focused on the current concerns of each service, welcoming the newly hired employees, and discussing upcoming activities and programs. The staff’s participation despite the weather reflects their commitment, teamwork, and dedication to serving our residents. 💙👏

🙏 Holy Mass & Catechism at Bahay Pag-Asa

Last August 13, 2026, a Holy Mass was held at the BPA grounds, attended by our residents and staff. The homily centered on the values of awa, pagpapatawad, at gawa—reminding everyone to put faith into action through compassion and forgiveness. ❤️

After the Mass, the choir facilitated a catechism session where residents reflected on the question, “Ano ang mga dapat kong baguhin sa sarili ko?” Through group sharing and processing, they were encouraged to recognize areas for improvement and embrace positive changes in their lives. 🌱🙏

🎓✨ Pagtatapos at Pagtaas ng Antas ng ALS 2025–2026 ✨🎓

Noong Hulyo 31, 2026, ipinagdiwang sa Bahay Pag-Asa Taguig ang Pagtatapos at Pagtaas ng Antas ng ALS na may temang “Handang Mamuno nang may Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao.”

Ngayong taon, 28 learners ang matagumpay na nakamit ang kanilang educational milestones—4 Elementary, 22 Junior High School, at 2 Senior High School. 👏🎓

Taos-pusong pasasalamat kay Hon. Mayor Maria Laarni L. Cayetano sa kanyang mensahe at patuloy na suporta sa mga programa ng Bahay Pag-Asa, lalo na sa edukasyon at paghubog sa ating mga kabataan. Salamat din sa aming City Social Welfare and Development Office - CSWDO Taguig City Deapartment Head, Ma'am Nikki Rose H. Operario, RSW💙

Maraming salamat din sa ating panauhing pandangal mula sa DepEd ALS TAPAT, kay Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Arturo Tolentino, at kay EPS in Araling Panlipunan Dr. Ferdinand Paggao sa kanilang presensya, mensahe, at suporta sa ating mga ALS learners. Syempre, sa ating EPS ALS/LRMS, Dr. Daisy L. Mataac, School Principal of MRTHS, Sir. Jose Mark P. Bolibar. Pati na rin sa ating mga ALS Teachers at BPA In-House Teachers.

📌 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💙

Last July 17, 2026, Bahay Pag-Asa successfully conducted its Parents in Focus session at the BPA Grounds, bringing together parents and carers of our residents for another meaningful learning experience.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Beverly Silvano, RSW, Social Worker, together with Ms. Ailla Dennise Sarmiento, RPm Psychometrician, who discussed the topic "Parenting Styles." The discussion focused on the four different parenting styles and their significant influence on a child's behavior, emotional well-being, and overall development. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own parenting approaches and recognize the importance of providing guidance, love, and consistent support to their children.

To make the learning more engaging and interactive, Ms. Beverly facilitated a role-playing activity. The parents and carers were divided into four groups, with each group assigned one of the four parenting styles to portray. Through the activity, participants were able to apply the concepts discussed, identify the strengths and challenges of each parenting style, and better understand how these approaches affect a child's growth and family relationships.

After each presentation, Ms. Beverly led a processing session where participants shared their reflections, exchanged experiences, and discussed practical ways to apply positive parenting practices in their own homes.

Activities like Parents in Focus continue to empower parents and carers by strengthening their parenting skills, promoting healthy family relationships, and creating a nurturing environment where every child can grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. 💙

🌿🍎 Late Post | July 15, 2026 – Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 🍎🌿

💚 Bahay Pag-Asa celebrated Nutrition Month 2026 at the BPA Grounds, facilitated by our dedicated BPA Nurses, with the theme "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisiyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" and the sub-theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan." 🌱🥗

👩‍⚕️ A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, Ma'am Kaila Angel V. Pagtakhan, Nutritionist-Dietitian, for sharing valuable knowledge through an engaging lecture on the importance of proper nutrition and healthy living. 🥦🍉

🎯 To reinforce the learning, our BPA Nurses facilitated interactive games and a NutriQuiz, making the activity both educational and enjoyable. 💡🏆 The celebration was made even more lively as selected residents showcased their talents through energetic dance performances. 💃🕺

🏅 During the program, we also recognized the Resident of the Month for June 2026 and awarded the Top 5 Residents with the Highest Note of Kindness, celebrating their positive behavior, compassion, and personal growth. 🌟💙

🙏 Our sincere appreciation to Ma'am Kaila, our BPA Nurses, and all the BPA staff whose dedication and teamwork made this year's Nutrition Month celebration a meaningful and successful event.
