More than 1000 people attended the screenings, confirming the growing interest of Filipino audiences in the Italian language and cinema.

As part of the celebrations marking the 80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic, the Embassy is pleased to present the , an initiative aimed at promoting Italian cinema and strengthening cultural ties between 🇮🇹 and the 🇵🇭, organized in collaboration with the (PIA), Elephant Pictures, and (FDCP).

The chosen movies showcase contemporary voices of Italian cinematographic production, acclaimed by both audiences and critics, which offer a priviled point of observation of modern Italy through different genres and cinematic languages.

L’Ambasciatore Davide Giglio ha incontrato il 4 giugno il Ministro dell’Istruzione, Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara.
L’incontro ha evidenziato l’importanza che Italia e Filippine attribuiscono all’istruzione quale motore dello sviluppo umano ed economico.
Nel corso del colloquio si è discusso anche del rafforzamento della presenza della lingua italiana nel sistema scolastico filippino attraverso l’avvio di progetti pilota.

On 4 June, Ambassador Davide Giglio met with Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara.
The meeting highlighted the importance that both Italy and the Philippines attach to education as a key driver of human and economic development.
The discussion also focused on strengthening the presence of the Italian language in the Philippine education system through the launch of pilot projects.

Una piattaforma strategica alla quale l’Italia contribuisce promuovendo criteri di sostenibilità, inclusività e trasparenza, attraverso il coinvolgimento del settore privato e il supporto delle proprie istituzioni finanziarie pubbliche: CDP, SACE e SIMEST.
Un impegno che conferma la volontà dell’Italia di rafforzare la cooperazione economica e infrastrutturale nell’Indo-Pacifico, contribuendo a una crescita sostenibile, resiliente e condivisa nella regione.
