On 09 April 2026, the Headquarters and Headquarters Service Group (HHSG), Philippine Marine Corps (PMC), conducted the Joint Turnover and Installation Ceremony of the Headquarters Service Company (HSC) and Military Police Company (MPC) at the Senior NCOโs Clubhouse, Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The ceremony marked the formal assumption of duties by two distinguished officers, Major Mezhel DS. Castro PN(M) and Major Eric Guy G. Udasco PN(M) as Commanding Officers of HSC and MPC respectively which was presided over by Colonel Eloise Sotero C. Fabian Jr. PN(M)(GSC), Commander, HHSG, PMC, witnessed by officers and key personnel of the Group.
In his message to Major Castro, the newly designated HSC Commander, Col Fabian emphasized that assignments within HHSG are not based on personal selection, but on trust in the officerโs ability to deliver results. He underscored his expectation for dependable, committed, and resolute leadership, while expressing his intent to achieve tangible and meaningful improvements within the unit. He also highlighted a significant milestone, as this marks the first time the HSC will be led by a female commander, expressing full confidence in Major Castroโs capability to lead the unit toward enhanced effectiveness and operational excellence.
Addressing Major Udasco, the newly designated Commander of the MPC, Col Fabian directed the strengthening of camp security measures and renewed focus on core responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of restoring a heightened level of vigilance and maintaining a disciplined and dedicated guard force to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and facilities within the camp.
Col Fabian conveyed his full trust and confidence in both officers, affirming his belief in their competence to lead and deliver results. He emphasized that their leadership will play a vital role in improving the operational efficiency, discipline, and overall management of the HHSG, while upholding the highest standards of military service.
