CMOR Commemorates the 128th Philippine Independence Day
The Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army, commemorated the 128th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence through a flag-raising ceremony and the recognition of newly promoted and newly assigned personnel today, June 12, 2026, at the CMOS Ground.
Colonel Gerald L. Monfort, Deputy Regiment Commander of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment, presided over the ceremony and led the troops in honoring the nation's historic declaration of independence while recognizing the dedication and accomplishments of CMOR personnel.
During the program, the regiment recognized newly promoted personnel for their commitment, competence, and exemplary service, highlighting CMOR's continued pursuit of professionalism and excellence. The regiment also welcomed newly assigned personnel as they officially joined the organization in support of its mission.
In his message, Colonel Monfort emphasized the significance of Independence Day as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the nation's heroes to secure the country's freedom. He urged all personnel to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity, and selfless service as they carried out their duties in the Philippine Army.
Through the ceremony, CMOR reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening organizational excellence while honoring the enduring legacy of Philippine independence.
