UPCAT 2027 APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN for incoming new first-year students for AY 2027-2028.

Applicants must fill out and submit their Form 1 in the online portal from 03 March to 30 March 2026 to take the exam on 01 and 02 August 2026.

Current Grade 11 students this SY 2025-2026 who will graduate senior high school by SY 2026-2027, or current Grade 12 students who have not taken the UPCAT in the previous cycles are eligible to apply.

School officials must fill out and confirm their students in the Form 2A portal from 03 March to 10 April 2026, for applicants to receive their test permit in July 2026.

Applicants must then revisit the portal after the exam, starting 03 August until 24 August 2026, to fill out their grades for Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the Form 2B portal. They must also submit the hard copy certified true copy of their SF-10 or Student Permanent Record to the UP Office of Admissions located inside UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Applicants can access the online application portal at https://upcat2027online.up.edu.ph/.

Application is not on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, please make sure to submit your application online by the deadline.

𝗘-𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗢 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

It’s that time again, Tagumenyos. The Tagum City Youth Development Office officially opens the Expanded City Educational Scholarship Program (E-CESPRO) for School Year 2025–2026.

If you’re an incoming freshman or a currently enrolled college student, this is your sign. Opportunity does not knock twice—but it does open from March 9–20, 2026.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦?

All scholars/grantees shall be entitled to receive educational assistance.
a. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀- An amount equivalent to the school’s actual billing statement which covers tuition and other fees; however, it shall not exceed Fifteen Thousand Pesos (Php 15,000.00) per semester directly paid to the school and Two Thousand Five Hundred pesos (Php 2,500.00) per semester as semestral allowance.

b. 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀- Student enrolls in government school is entitled to Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000.00) as semestral allowance.

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗬?

The following are the qualifications for this scholarship:
✅ Must be a resident of Tagum City;
✅ Must be incoming freshmen and/ or currently-enrolled college students (SY 2025-2026);
✅ Must have a combined annual gross income of parents/guardian not exceeding Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 200,000.00);
✅ Must not be a recipient of any scholarship grant from any foundation, other government and financial assistance;
✅ Must have grade not below 80% or its equivalent for every subject with General Weighted Average (GWA) not below 85% or its equivalent; and
✅ Open to Public and Private Higher Education Institutions within the Davao Region.
✅ Priority Courses: Medical Courses, Engineering Courses, Psychology-related Courses, Culinary and Food Technology, and Agriculture. OTHER COURSES / PROGRAMS ARE STILL WELCOME TO APPLY!

𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

✅ Application Letter addressed to the City Mayor stating the reason and need for applying for the scholarship;
✅ Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate or Local Birth Certificate;
✅ Certificate of Indigency;
✅ Voter’s Certification from COMELEC;
✅ For incoming college students, Certified True Copy of Grades from 1st semester of the School Year 2025-2026 (Report Card/Form 137); and
✅ For currently enrolled college students, Certified True Copy of Certificate of Grades from the last semester attended.

📌 Due to the recent earthquakes felt across Mindanao, the public is hereby advised to remain calm, alert, and prepared to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. All students and personnel are reminded to 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 during these times and to be cautious of possible aftershocks that may follow.
