In line with the continuing efforts of Hon. Kuya Gov. Edwin I. Jubahib, Governor and PADAC Chairman, to strengthen anti-drug initiatives across the province, the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) convened its 2nd Quarter Regular Meeting, gathering key stakeholders to sustain collaboration and advance strategic programs in Davao del Norte.
By authority of the Hon. Governor, the meeting was presided over by Atty. Ralph P. Dela Cruz, Lt. Col., PA (Ret.), Provincial Administrator and PADAC Task Force Action Officer, together with PLTCOL Jun A. Bautista, Chief of the Police Community Affairs and Development Unit, DNPPO, and Ms. Rosalinda O. Rapista, RSW, Head of the PSWDO and PADAC Secretariat.
Key developments were presented during the session, including Resolution No. 03, s. 2026, officially adopting and authorizing the use of the PADAC and K9 Narcotics Detection Dog (NDD) Project logos as the official logos of PADAC and the K9 NDD Project of Davao del Norte. The PADAC logo was approved, while the K9 NDD logo is set for further enhancement.
Moreover, the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Provincial Government and accredited veterinary clinics with in-house diagnostic laboratories in Davao del Norte was presented and discussed, aimed at strengthening laboratory support services for the K9 NDD Project.
The meeting concluded with a unified commitment among stakeholders to further intensify coordination and uphold a proactive, whole-of-government approach toward achieving a safer, drug-cleared Davao del Norte.
