The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Canocotan, under the leadership of SK Chairperson Nica Fort J. Ado, proudly took part in Brigada Eskwela 2025 with the theme “Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa.”

Demonstrating their deep commitment to youth empowerment and education, the SK Council donated essential cleaning materials to the three public schools in the barangay: Canocotan National High School, Luis Lina Elementary School, and Herculina Elementary School.

This initiative reflects the SK's dedication to fostering safe, clean, and conducive learning environments. More than just a donation, it is a gesture of solidarity—a symbol of the youth’s active role in building a brighter and more educated future.

The Office of City Tourism will be conducting the eARThfest Summer Camp, and our barangay is proud to be part of this exciting event!

We encourage all interested youth (15 years old to 18 years old) of Barangay Canocotan to join the camp, which will run for 5 days and feature 7 creative workshops, including:

Music (Voice Solo, Choir)
Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpting)
Dance (Hip-hop, Contemporary, Neo-Ethnic)
Film (Photography, Creative Writing, Cinematography)
Theater

Important Reminders:

Participants joining the Art Workshop are advised to bring their own materials.
Bring your own lunch, water and snacks.
