The Project BLUEPRINT: Industry-Academe Dialogue on Agri-Sector Innovation was successfully conducted last September 2, 2026, at FTC Hall, USeP Tagum Unit, bringing together Government, Industry, and Academe (GIA) to connect real-world industry challenges with research, innovation, and engineering solutions.

🌾 Industry partners from five key sectors shared their expertise:

🌴Coconut – Healthy Sweets Mindanao & SARBEMCO

The dialogue highlighted opportunities in process optimization, waste minimization, circular economy, and machinery innovation, laying the foundation for stronger collaboration between industry and academe.

The Province of Davao del Norte facilitated the Davao del Norte International Green Investment & Sustainability Forum 2026 on September 1, 2026, with DTI-Davao del Norte Provicial Office collaborating and providing support to the activity. Held at the start of the Philippine Bamboo Month Celebration, the forum provided an avenue to showcase bamboo as a promising green investment, with GREENBRIDGE Philippines highlighting the potential of Guadua bamboo as a focus variety for expansion in sustainable construction and as a renewable alternative to plastic in various applications. 🎋🌏

Through this collaboration, DTI-Davao del Norte continues to support the Province and bamboo stakeholders in developing opportunities across the bamboo value chain. The promotion of Guadua bamboo opens possibilities for innovative, sustainable, and high-value products while contributing to a greener economy and reducing dependence on conventional, non-renewable materials.
