Mabuhay ug Madayaw!

Please be informed that in observance of β€œKainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day and in line with the nationwide work suspension, LTO-Tagum District Office will be open for transactions on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM only.

All transactions will be accommodated until 1:00 PM. Regular office operations will resume on the next working day.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region XI has issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) against the driver and registered owner of a motorcycle following a viral social media post showing the back rider allegedly performing dangerous stunts while the motorcycle was in motion. The reported violations include failure to wear the prescribed motorcycle Helmet, use of unauthorized/illegal flashing rear-light devices, and reckless conduct that may endanger other road users.

The driver has also been directed to explain why appropriate administrative sanctions should not be imposed for allegedly being an improper person to operate a motor vehicle, considering the circumstances presented and their potential impact on road safety.

LTO XI remains committed to investigating reported violations and enforcing traffic laws to protect all road users.
