The Provincial Assessorโs Office of Davao del Norte continues the commitment to regularly conduct the General Revision of Real Property Assessments every three (3) years since CY 1993 to CY 2023 per RA 7160.And now currently submitted the Proposed Schedule of Market Values for the next General Revision year with the mandate of the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act( RPVARA) RA 12001
, which aims and primary goal to modernize, standardize and professionalize the Real Property Valuation Standard (PVS) in the Philippines that will foster higher tax collection efficiency and strengthen Local Government Unit (LGU) fiscal autonomy.
Relevant to this, the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte with the leadership of Kuya Gob. Hon. Edwin I. Jubahib(Governor) through the PHRMO had already completed the requirements in Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). A CPD Council of Real Estate Service, as CPD Provider with Accreditation No.RAE-2025-061 from Dec.2025 to Dec.1,2028. Likewise with the accredited PRC Resource Persons,

The Provincial Government of Davao del Norte through the office of the Provincial Assessor with the PHRMO conducted a 3-Day Seminar-Workshop on the Conduct of General Revision of Real Property Assessments in the Province of Davao del Norte on March 25-27,2026 at DavNor Pavilion, DNSTC, Mankilam, Tagum City with 15 CPD units for all attendees and Real Estate Appraiser (REA) professionals.This is a free seminar-workhop for our Professionals in Davao Region as stated by our Governor Kuya Gov.Edwin I.Jubahib to help our professionals earn CPD units and renew their license on time.
The said seminar-workshop were attended by Real Estate Appraisers coming from different Provinces in Region XI namely: Davao del Norte; Davao de Oro; Davao Occidental and Davao Oriental, of which they learned additional insights and information on the significance of the preparation and formulation of the new Schedule of Market Values (SMV) likewise the main objectives of the RPVARA (R.A. 12001) .
The 3-Day Seminar Workshop gave an emphasis on the General Revision of Real Property Assessments as essential for maintaining and updating the current Real property valuation, for taxation purposes, increasing local government revenues, improving property records, and complying with legal mandates. For every Local Government Unit. It is a critical process that supports transparent governance and sustainable local development.
