𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞

Yesterday, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 6, 2026, participants gathered at the 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 for a 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 filled with valuable insights and hands-on learning.

The morning began with an inspiring session on "𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜" led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗹 of DTI Province, encouraging participants to develop the mindset needed to pursue business opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.

This was followed by a delightful 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪 𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗼, where participants learned the process behind this beloved Filipino delicacy and explored its potential as an income-generating product.

Thank you to our resource speakers and participants for making the activity meaningful. Together, we continue to promote skills development, entrepreneurship, and community growth.

𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🏊🪸🐟

Lalum ang misyon sa pinakaunang 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐌 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 nga gipahitabo karong adlawa, Hunyo 6, 2026 sa Hijo Resorts, sa Barangay Madaum.

Tumong niini nga mapakita ang kaanindot sa ilalum sa kadagatan sa siyudad, ug malatag ang kadak-on pa sa angay'ng buhaton aron mas mapalambo ug maprotektahan ang marine resources, ilabi na sa pagpadaghan sa coral reef ug sea grass.

Aktibo kining gisalmutan sa mga professional ug freediving enthusiasts sa nagkalain-laing diving community sa Davao Region.

Ang fun dive nga aduna usab fundraising component, giorganisa sa Hijo Resources Corporation ilalum sa Tuason Development Foundation, Inc., pinaagi sa pagpanguna sa The Trinity Project.

Ang malikom nga pondo muadto sa paggama og dugang Artificial Coral Reefs nga iinstalar mismo sa mga partisipante didto sa Marine Protected Area (MPA) sa Tagum.

Nagmalampuson ang maong aktibidad tungod usab sa pakigtambayayong sa Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Tagum, pinaagi opisina niini nga sa City Environment and Natural Resources ug City Health Office, kauban ang Philippine Coast Guard, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Carabao Dive Center, ug sa grupo nga gipanguluhan sa freediving instructor nga si Jok Sumi-og.

Napakita usab sa SEASID Tagum ang potensyal sa diving spots sa Tagum nga pwedeng mamahimong bag-ong freediving destination nga maipasigarbo sa rehiyon.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 2026 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭

The City of Tagum Cultural Center Lobby was filled with creativity, talent, and inspiration as participants from 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗴𝗽𝗼 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗱𝘂𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮 took center stage during the Earth Festival 2026 Culmination Program held on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 5, 2026.

Representing the four artistic disciplines, the young performers proudly showcased the skills and confidence they developed throughout the festival, highlighting the vibrant artistic spirit found within our communities.

The celebration was made even more meaningful by the presence of our valued partners from the 𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, whose continued support has helped make initiatives like EarthFest possible. The event was also graced by 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 and 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮 𝗟. 𝗨𝘆, who shared inspiring messages and introduced exciting programs and opportunities that continue to support culture, tourism, and community engagement in Tagum City.

A meaningful moment during the program was the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, where representatives from 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗹 and 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻 expressed their commitment to supporting initiatives that empower children, promote creativity, and strengthen community participation.

As Earth Festival 2026 concludes, the celebration serves as a reminder that when communities come together to support the arts, they create opportunities for young people to learn, express themselves, and thrive.
