The LGU Tagum is among the 18 finalists recognized for excellence at the 2024 Galing Pook Awards, selected from 124 program entries. The event took place yesterday October 24, at SM Aura, Taguig.

We sincerely express our gratitude to the BEE BLESS program from the academe and partner organizations, represented by Sir Ador Picaza. We also extend our thanks to the Tagum City Beekeepers Association, BEE BLESS graduates, and the Farmers Association for their invaluable support. Special recognition goes to Ma'am Mercy Namang Fuerzas (BEE C sa Uma Apiary), the pioneering and former BEE BLESS program coordinator, as well as the former CAGRO beekeepers, who are now working abroad.

We also acknowledge our Department Head Harold S. Dawa, the technical writer Charline Mae Adlaon, our Agricultural Technicians, for their efforts in data collection, the CIO team led by Sir Don, and lastly our heartfelt thanks to the CMO headed by Mayor Rey T. Uy and the City Officials for their unwavering support.
