🚗💙 LTO XI CARAVAN – P.A.S.A.D.A. PROJECT SUCCESSFULLY SERVES THE TAGUM DRIVING COMMUNITY!

On August 1, 2026 8:00am (Saturday), the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region XI successfully conducted its LTO XI Caravan – P.A.S.A.D.A. Project (Promoting Accessible Sustainable Assistance for Driver's Advancement) at the Activity Area, 3rd Floor, NCCC Mall of Tagum, bringing essential LTO services closer to the public.

The successful caravan was made possible through the unwavering support of the NCCC Mall of Tagum Management, whose partnership helped make government services more accessible and convenient for the driving community.

The activity was spearheaded by the LTO Tagum District Office, headed by Karen Mae D. Torollo, MPA, TRO II, Officer-in-Charge, in collaboration with the LTO Driver's License Renewal Office (DLRO) – Gmall of Tagum, headed by Numeriano Jr. T. Aguilar, TRO II, Officer-in-Charge, together with our valued partner stakeholder, Aries Medical Clinic.

Hundreds of clients benefited from the back-to-back services offered during the caravan, including:

✅ FREE Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) for new Student Permit applicants
✅ Driver's License Renewal for qualified license holders whose licenses have not been expired for more than two (2) years
✅ Road safety education (FREE TDC) and client assistance services
✅ Medical Certification

The overwhelming participation of the public reflects our shared commitment to promoting road safety, responsible driving, and bringing government services closer to every Filipino.

Naaresto ang dalawang babae sa isinagawang entrapment operation ng Land Transportation Office (LTO), sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG), dahil sa umano’y pagkakasangkot sa ilegal na fixing activities.

Isinagawa ang operasyon matapos magsumbong sa LTO ang isa sa mga naging biktima na nagsabing nagbayad siya ng ₱45,000 para sa pagproseso ng driver’s license at patuloy pang hinihingan ng karagdagang bayad.

Bunsod ng reklamo, ikinasa ng LTO at PNP-HPG ang entrapment operation na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng dalawang suspek. Dinala sila sa Camp Crame para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at pagsasampa ng mga naaangkop na kaso.

Personal ding hinarap ni LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao, ang mga suspek at muling iginiit na walang puwang ang mga fixer sa LTO.

“Walang lugar ang mga fixer at ang kanilang mga kasabwat sa LTO. Patuloy nating palalakasin ang ating operasyon laban sa mga nananamantala sa publiko. Hinihikayat namin ang lahat ng motorista na dumiretso lamang sa mga opisyal na tanggapan ng LTO at agad na i-ulat ang sinumang nag-aalok ng ilegal na serbisyo upang agad na maaksyunan,” ani Assistant Secretary Lacanilao.

Muling pinaalalahanan ng LTO ang publiko na huwag makipagtransaksyon sa mga fixer at sa mga indibidwal na nangangakong mapapabilis ang pagproseso ng mga dokumento kapalit ng karagdagang bayad. Pinagtitibay ng ahensya ang patuloy nitong pakikipag-ugnayan sa iba pang law enforcement agencies upang tuluyang mapuksa ang operasyon ng mga fixer at mapanatili ang integridad, kredibilidad, at transparency ng mga serbisyo ng LTO.

Kaugnay ng mga naging sunod-sunod na isyu na nakaapekto sa Land Transportation Management System (LTMS), at upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagbibigay ng serbisyo at mabigyan ang publiko ng sapat na pagkakataong makapagproseso ng kanilang mga transaksyon nang walang karagdagang bayarin, ipinatutupad ang Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5271.

Pinalalawig hanggang sa susunod na abiso ang bisa ng mga sumusunod na mag-e-expire simula Hulyo 1, 2026:

• Motor Vehicle Registration
• Driver's License
• Conductor's License
• Student Permit
• Medical Certificate

Walang sisingiling late fees o penalties para sa lahat ng renewal na sakop ng nasabing extension habang epektibo ang Memorandum Circular.
