Sa panahon nga adunay nagkalain-laing alarming posts ug threats nga nag-circulate sa social media, importante kaayo nga kita nga mga ginikanan mahimong mas alerto, mas maampingon, ug mas duol sa atong mga anak.

👉 Pangutan-a sila unsay ilang nakita o nadungog sa school ug social media.

👉 Paminawa sila kung adunay nakapahadlok, nakapabalaka, o suspicious nga nahitabo.

👉 Hinumdumi sila nga dili mag-share, mag-repost, o magpadayon sa pagpakalat sa threatening posts.

👉 Tudlui sila nga kung makakita ug suspicious post, message, account, o threat, i-screenshot ug i-report dayon sa principal, teacher, security guard, o proper authorities.

👉 Remind them to stay alert ug likayi ang pag-apil sa jokes o pranks nga may kalabotan sa threats, weapons, o violence.

👉 Tell your children that they can always talk to you. Ayaw sila kasab-i dayon. Paminawa una ug tabangi sila nga makasabot unsay sakto nga buhaton.

Mga ginikanan, atong hinumdoman: ang atong presensya, pagpaminaw, ug open communication mahimong dakong tabang sa kaluwasan sa atong mga anak. ❤️

📌IMPORTANT SCHOOL SAFETY ADVISORY‼️

In view of the recent Facebook posts circulating through dummy accounts containing threats and alarming messages about possible shooting incidents in schools, all schools are hereby reminded to exercise extra caution and heightened security measures.

Whether these posts are merely pranks, hoaxes, or otherwise, every threat must be taken seriously and properly addressed to ensure the safety of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel.

ALL SCHOOLS are advised to:

✅️Conduct proper and thorough inspection of all individuals entering the school premises, including learners, personnel, visitors, and guests.

✅️Strengthen coordination between PNP, BFP and security guards.

✅️Even if learners have already been inspected by the security guard at the school entrance, bags and belongings should still be checked outside the classroom before students are allowed to enter the room, as an additional precautionary measure.

✅️Monitor and report any suspicious individuals, activities, messages, or social media posts immediately to the school administration and proper authorities.

✅️Remind learners and personnel not to share, repost, or amplify threatening posts unnecessarily. Instead, take a screenshot and report the account or post to the proper authorities for verification and investigation.

✅️Ensure that emergency protocols and evacuation procedures are reviewed and properly communicated to all school personnel and learners.

SAFETY MUST ALWAYS COME FIRST.

We urge everyone to remain calm, vigilant, and responsible. Let us not cause unnecessary panic, but at the same time, let us never disregard any threat—whether it turns out to be a prank or not.

For everyone's safety, all schools are encouraged to remain vigilant and to immediately coordinate with the proper authorities regarding any threat or suspicious activity.

In support of this vision, the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur (PGAS) joins the nationwide observance of "Linggo ng Kabataan 2026," and reaffirms its commitment to creating opportunities where young Agsurnons can lead, serve, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

In line with Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, or the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, a series of activities will be conducted at the barangay, municipal, city, and provincial levels. The celebration recognizes the youth not only as beneficiaries of development but as active partners in governance and nation-building.

PUBLIC ADVISORY || As Agusan del Sur prepares to bid its final farewell to the late Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Cesar M. Alonde, the Provincial Government releases the official funeral procession routes for August 7 and 8, 2026.

On August 7, the funeral procession will travel from Bayugan City to the Provincial Government Center [particularly at Datu Lipus Makapandong Covered Court] in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, where final honors will be rendered. On August 8, the procession will proceed from the Provincial Government Center back to Bayugan City for the late Board Member's final interment.

The public is encouraged to take note of the procession routes and expected traffic advisories, and is invited to join in honoring the life and dedicated public service of the late Board Member. Please see the photos below for the complete procession routes and schedule details.
