An ocular inspection and site verification were conducted of Talavera-Office of the Municipal Engineer Staff in response to the request of the Barangay for the proposed Construction of Drainage and Road Concreting Project at Barangay Bacal III, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
The inspection was undertaken to assess the existing condition of the proposed project site and to determine the appropriate scope of works, dimensions, quantities, and technical requirements necessary for the preparation of the Program of Works (POW) and cost estimate.
During the inspection, the existing road condition, proposed road alignment and limits, drainage requirements, site elevations, drainage flow, and other existing structures or obstructions were assessed. The actual site conditions were also considered in determining the appropriate design and construction requirements for the proposed drainage and concrete pavement.
Based on the inspection, the necessary measurements and site information shall be used as the basis for the preparation of the Program of Works, detailed quantity estimates, and cost estimates for the proposed project, subject to applicable engineering standards and availability of funds.

VERIFICATION AND SITE OCULAR INSPECTION

A site verification and ocular inspection were conducted of the Talavera-Office of the Municipal Engineer Staff at Cabubulaunan Elementary School to assess the existing site conditions and determine the actual requirements for the proposed Construction of Perimeter Fence. The inspection was undertaken as a basis for the preparation of the Program of Works (POW) and detailed cost estimate.

During the inspection, the proposed alignment and location of the perimeter fence were verified with the school representative. Existing site conditions, available space, ground elevations, existing structures, access points, and other physical features that may affect the construction were assessed.

Joint Inspection.

This is in response to regarding the alleged road obstruction caused by a minivan in Barangay Matingkis. A joint inspection was conducted by the Talavera Office of the Municipal Engineer, General Services Office, Talavera PNP, and Barangay Officials. During the inspection, the reported vehicle was not found at the location. The vehicle owner was interviewed and confirmed that the unit is now being parked at his workplace instead of along the public road. A coordination meeting was also held at the Barangay Hall, where the owner agreed not to park along the public road. Barangay Officials further advised the use of the Barangay Gym or other designated legal parking areas when necessary.

The Talavera Office of the Municipal Engineer Staff conducted a site inspection of the requested Barangay Road Concreting Project located at Barangay San Pascual, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. The inspection was carried out to assess the existing road condition, verify the need for the proposed project, gather the necessary technical data, and evaluate the site for the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for possible implementation.

Inspection of Completed Barangay Drainage and Road Concreting Project

The Talavera Office of the Municipal Engineer Staff conducted an inspection of the completed Barangay Drainage and Road Concreting Project located at Barangay Bantug, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. The inspection was undertaken to verify that the project was completed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, assess the quality of workmanship, and ensure that the project is ready for acceptance and turnover for the benefit of the community.

On July 15,2026, The Talavera-Office of the Municipal Engineer Staff, together with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and other concerned offices, conducted an on-site validation for the Cleanest Barangays, Road Clearing Operations, and Hapag sa Barangay under the "Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program" for the 2nd quarter of 2026.

The activity aimed to assess the implementation of cleanliness, environmental management, road clearing initiatives, and community-based programs in participating barangays. Through this collaborative effort, the municipal government continues to promote a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable community while encouraging barangays to uphold good governance and active community participation.

July 7, 2026 – Inspection of Talavera Senior High School Project Request

On July 7, 2026, personnel from the Municipal Engineering Office of Talavera conducted an inspection at Talavera Senior High School in response to a project request. The inspection was undertaken to assess the existing site conditions and determine the scope of work required for the proposed project.

During the inspection, the Engineering Office staff evaluated the condition of the identified area, conducted the necessary measurements and observations, and documented relevant site information through field notes and photographs. The team also coordinated with school representatives to discuss the project's requirements, identify priority concerns, and gather information needed for the preparation of the appropriate engineering documents and recommendations.

The findings from the inspection will serve as the basis for the preparation of the proposed plans, cost estimates, and other technical documents necessary for the evaluation and implementation of the requested project, subject to the applicable policies and the availability of funds.

July 6, 2026 – Regular Project Monitoring of the Reblocking of Barangay Road at Barangay Dimasalang Norte, Talavera, Nueva Ecija

On July 6, 2026, the Municipal Engineering Office of Talavera conducted a regular project monitoring activity for the Reblocking of Barangay Road located at Barangay Dimasalang Norte, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. The activity was undertaken to monitor the progress of the project and ensure that construction was being carried out in accordance with the approved plans, technical specifications, Program of Work, and contract schedule.
During the site inspection, the Engineering Office staff verified the status of the ongoing road reblocking works, assessed the quality of materials and workmanship, and compared the actual physical accomplishment with the approved work schedule. The team also checked compliance with applicable construction standards and safety requirements and documented the current site conditions through inspection notes and photographs.

The monitoring activities were carried out to ensure that the project implementation complied with the approved plans, technical specifications, Program of Work, contract provisions, and implementation schedule.
Regular monitoring by the Municipal Engineering Office helped ensure that the construction of the MENRO Multi-Purpose Building progressed efficiently, maintained the required quality standards, and remained aligned with the project's approved scope of work, budget, and target completion schedule.
