(Penology Profession Day)

In line with the celebration of 13th Community Relations Service Month (CRS) Month with the theme "Nagkakaisang Kawanihan at Pamayanan Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas" Four (4) personnel of this unit under the leadership of JSINSP RENE C CULALLAD conducted Information Drive on Penology Profession to Forty-Two (42) Criminology Students of St. Elizabeth Global Institute Inc. Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

The activity aims to orient students on the Mandates, Functions of BJMP and General Qualifications for Appointment to Jail Officer I, distribution of flyers regarding recruitment process was also conducted.

We would like to acknowledge the support to St. Elizabeth Global Institute headed by Sir Ryan Arvin R. Villanueva, School Director and to the Faculty of College of Criminal Justice Education headed by Maam Romina Tapic for accomodating us in this activity.

SIMULTANEOUS TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

Earlier in this morning, Eight (8) Personnel of this unit headed by JSINSP RENE C CULALLAD, Municipal Jail Warden participated in the Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity in line with the celebration of 13th Community Relations Service Month (CRS) Month with the theme "Nagkakaisang Kawanihan at Pamayanan Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas" at Brgy. Sampaloc, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. A total of Five (5) Guava, Five (5) Tamarind, Two (2) Rambutan, One (1) Avocado, One (1) Lemon and One (1) Chico tree were planted.

Let us connect to nature and preserve the environment for the present and future generations to come. 🌿🌍

"Gabay pang Legal, Tungo sa Serbisyong Marangal"

Atty. Ma. Micaela A. Binuya from Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Nueva Ecija Chapter conducted Free Legal Consultation to Fourteen (14) Male and One (1) Female with regarding the status of their cases supervised by JO2 Jefferson A Tamayo and JO2 John Kevin P Vitriolo, Paralegal Officers of this unit in line with the celebration of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2024.

"Kawanggawa, Alay sa Kapwa"

In connection with the celebration of Community Relations Service Month 2024 with a theme “Nagkakaisang Kawanihan at Pamayanan tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas”Five (5) personnel of this unit led by JO2 Raffy DC Llamas, Unit Chief CRS Officer, organized a community outreach event serving pansit bihon in front of Talavera Municipal Jail to 30 relatives and visitors of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

Community Relation Service is one way building ties with the community to promote community development through collaborative partnership with our service providers, stakeholders and civil society group. This is also a chance where we can take part in the promotion of BJMP Profession to the society.

"Serbisyong Makadiyos, Para sa Serbisyong Maayos"

Rev. Father Marlou Tarcisio Naval Cruz, Director Diocesan Prison Ministry of Nueva Ecija conducted and officiated the Holy Eucharistic Celebration attended by One Hundred Seventy-Three (173) Male and Sixteen (16) female PDL supervised by JO2 Raffy DC Llamas, Interfaith Officer followed by feeding program from Sister Gorgonia Dela Cruz from Saint Isidore Parish Church of Talavera .

Continous conduct of such activity will help to boost the morale and spiritual wellbeing of PDL.
