Malampusong gipahigayon sa Talibon MDRRMO ang Hands-Only CPR Orientation Training didto sa Barangay Suba (Island) niadtong Mayo 8, 2026, nga adunay tumong nga usa ka partisipante matag panimalay aron mapalig-on ang kahandam sa komunidad sa panahon sa emerhensya.

Mikabat sa 125 ka partisipante ang nitambong ug aktibong miapil sa maong pagbansay.

Daghang salamat sa Barangay Suba sa inyong suporta ug dedikasyon sa pagkat-on sa batakang pamaagi sa pagluwas og kinabuhi.

Tropical Storm HAGUPIT

TROPICAL STORM “HAGUPIT” IS MOVING WESTWARD OVER THE SEA SOUTH OF GUAM.

Location of Center (4:00 AM):
The center of Tropical Storm HAGUPIT was estimated based on all available data at 1,995 km East of Northeastern Mindanao (OUTSIDE PAR) (7.3°N, 144.4°E).

Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa.

Present Movement:
Westward at 20 km/h

Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to gale-force winds extend outwards up to 270 km from the center

GENERAL OUTLOOK FOR THE FORECAST PERIOD
• HAGUPIT will continue moving westward in the next 6 hours, then turn west northwestward for the remainder of the forecast period. It may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between Saturday (09 May) evening and Sunday (10 May) morning and will be given a local name CALOY.
• In the next 48 hours, HAGUPIT will further intensify peaking as a high-end tropical storm. Afterwards, due to unfavorable environmental conditions, it will begin to weaken and may be downgraded to tropical depression by next Tuesday (12 May) while over the Philippine Sea.
• HAGUPIT is less likely to directly affect the weather and sea conditions in the next 3 days.

Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates related to this tropical cyclone.

Unless there is an intermediate issuance, the next tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM today.

12 GIDA Barangays (1/12✅) aron masiguro nga bisan sa kalayo nga lugar, andam ang matag panimalay sa paghatag ug unang tabang.

The Talibon MDRRMO successfully conducted a First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) – Hands-Only CPR Lecture and Demonstration for the employees of Alturas Group on April 29–30, 2026.

Two (2) batches of participants actively joined the training, gaining essential knowledge and life-saving skills such as hands-only CPR and foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO) management. The activity aimed to equip participants with the proper response during emergency situations and strengthen community preparedness.

👏 We commend all participants for their active participation and willingness to learn skills that can help save lives.

Padayon ang serbisyo sa katawhan! 💪🚑

Ang Talibon MDRRMO, ubos sa pagpangulo ni Sir Vladimir Avenido nagpadayon gihapon sa pag-conduct og First Aid ug Basic Life Support (Hands-Only CPR ug FBAO Management) sa atong mga barangay dinhi sa lungsod sa Talibon.

Karong Abril 22–23, 2026, malampuson natong nahuman ang training sa Brgy. San Francisco. Dako kaayong pasalamat sa aktibong partisipasyon sa atong mga Barangay Officials, BHWs, Barangay Tanods, mga Teachers, ug mga interns nga nag-duty sa barangay. 👏

Ang inyong kahibalo ug kahanduman sa pagresponde sa emerhensya makaluwas og kinabuhi. Padayon ta sa pagpalig-on sa atong komunidad pinaagi sa preparedness ug serbisyo.
