Talibon Water District Water Utility Services Water is vital to the growth of the community, the growth of the entire Nation.

Talibon Water District was form in November 1978 through SB Resolution No. 65, has given a Certificate of Conditional Conformance No. 080 on May 7, 1979 and it started its operation in May 1980. Talibon Water District has a mission mandated by Presidential Decree No. 198 as amended to serve water adequately to the Public in a safe and potable way to drink. At first, it was a Quasi-Public Corporati

on performing Public services and supplying public want and yet exercising and enjoying the power, rights privileges given to Private Corporation. In 1993, TAWAD was recognized by the CSC, GSIS as Government Owned and Controlled Corporation.

UPDATE:

TALIBON WATER DISTRICT undergo urgent rehabilitation because pump station sources ( San Roque Pump Station 1 & 2 ) hit a critical level, it means the underground aquifers or surface water sources have depleted severely, forcing water utilities to overhaul their infrastructure to prevent complete system collapse. This critical drops in water tables are typically caused by prolonged dry spells.
Although operational adjustments have been implemented, intermittent water supply is expected to continue until reservoir levels recover.

Furthermore, frequent power interruptions happened nowadays resulted major setbacks in pumps and controls.

Residents are urged to use water sparingly during this period. Every effort is being made to stabilise the system and restore full supply as quickly as possible.

WATER SUPPLY ADVISORY

Due to extreme summer heat nowadays, water supply within the district’s service area is severely affected due to high demand especially during day time.

Accordingly, may we request our concessionaires to stock sufficient water for their daily use during night time when water pressure is sufficiently available in their area.

Key Advisory Information & Measures:

Water Saving Measures: Store water in clean containers, prioritize essential needs, and monitor local water district updates.

Anticipated Conditions: High temperatures and drought conditions are likely to result in low pressure or interrupted service, especially in elevated locations.

Affected Service Areas: Specific service areas of water districts, including Talibon Water District (TAWAD) and others in the region, are experiencing or preparing for supply issues.

Contingency Plans: Water districts are activating summer contingency plans, which may include operational adjustments, and in some cases, negotiating for emergency water supplies.

LOW WATER PRESSURE TO NO WATER SUPPLY

Kindly be informed that some areas may currently experience low pressure to no water supply due to emergency rehabilitation and repair.
Likewise due to summer season, TAWAD is also experiencing a decrease in water table levels, which may contribute to water shortage in some Barangays.

TO OUR VALUED CONSUMERS:

Please be advised that the Talibon Water District (TWD) office will be CLOSED on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), a Regular Holiday per Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025.

Important Information:

* No In-Person Payments: All tellering and administrative services at the main office in San Jose, Poblacion will be suspended for the day.

* No Late Penalties: Payments made on the next business day are not treated as late, and late payment fees or penalties are waived for that holiday period. Regular office hours and payment collections will resume on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

* Alternative Payments: To avoid penalties or disconnection, customers are encouraged to use authorized digital payment platforms such as PALAWANPAYAPP & MCASH APP or visit accredited local centers like Palawan Pawnshop & M Lhuilier.
