The City Government of Talisay, under the ASENSO Platform of Governance of Mayor Atty. Rowena "Weng" Lopez Lizares, through the City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (CTEIPO)headed by Ismael Paredes Penado, successfully conducted Day 3 of the 3-Day Cyber Hygiene Training under the 2026 ASENSO SPARK Academy.

Today's participants included Senior High School students and teacher-coordinators from Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School together with Barangay Officials and personnel.

The session was facilitated by Resource Speaker Ms. Cherry Pearl Lopez, who equipped participants with practical knowledge on cyber hygiene, online safety, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible digital citizenship.

The City Government of Talisay, under the ASENSO Platform of Governance of Mayor Atty. The City Government of Talisay proudly received the Tumandok Award in recognition of its valuable partnership with the Philippine ICT Network (PICTN) and its significant contribution to promoting and advocating digital work and innovation in the Philippines.

The award was presented during Day 2 of the Transformative AI Network (TRAIN) Expo at the SMX Convention Center, with Atty. Jocelle Sigue, Convenor of the Philippine ICT Network (PICTN) and the Transformative AI Network (TRAIN), personally conferring the award.

Representing the City Government of Talisay, Jonah Javier, Assistant Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer, received the award on behalf of the city.

This recognition highlights Talisay City's commitment to fostering digital transformation and creating opportunities for its people. In 2025, the City Government successfully conducted the DigiWorks Expo organized by the CTEIPO led by Assistant City Administrator and LEDIP Head Mr. Ismael Paredes Penado, bringing together government, industry partners, and aspiring digital professionals to promote digital careers, innovation, and the future of work.

This achievement is a testament to the visionary leadership of Mayor Atty. Rowena "Weng" Lopez Lizares, whose administration continues to champion innovation, digital inclusion, and sustainable economic development for all Talisaynons.
