The DILG City of Talisay Office conducted the 1st Quarter 2026 Coordination Meeting for the Barangay Secretaries and Treasurers as part of its continuing mandate to strengthen local governance and ensure compliance with established national standards.
The meeting centered on a comprehensive assessment of assigned tasks and deliverables, with emphasis on the proper and consistent implementation of existing policies, rules, and guidelines. It also served as a venue to clarify procedural requirements, address operational issues encountered by barangays, and reinforce best practices to ensure the efficient and accountable discharge of their responsibilities.
Through this initiative, the DILG-CLGOO Office reaffirms its commitment to accountability, and the provision of responsive technical assistance to all barangays within its jurisdiction.
