BFAR 4A - Batangas Inland Fisheries Technology Outreach Station BFAR Station assigned on water quality monitoring of Taal Lake and ornamental fish production Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas.

The Batangas Inland Fisheries Technology Outreach Station, or BIFTOS, is located in the Tanauan School of Fisheries compound in Brgy. The BIFTOS is tasked to:
- Provide technology demonstration and livelihood projects to fisherfolk;
- Monitors the water quality and health status of Taal Lake;
- Issues advisory on the status and updates of water quality;
-Coordinates with the LGUs, FARMC, Fisherfo

lk Associations, and fish cage operators on aquaculture projects and development;
- Assists in the provision of training on the culture and management of freshwater ornamental fish and GAqP; and,
- Provides technical advice and assistance to aquaculture project and related problems on fish health management.
