Talisay City Jail – Male Dormitory reaffirmed its commitment to education by renewing its Memorandum of Agreement with Maghaway Elementary School during the Brigada Eskwela Opening Program for School Year 2026–2027.

As a gesture of support, the jail unit also donated painting materials and school supplies to help create a more conducive learning environment for students. This initiative reflects the continuing partnership between the two institutions in promoting quality education and community development.

As the week unfolds, the value of purposefulness serves as a guiding principle for all public servants, inspiring them to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and integrity in service to the community and the organization.

Talisay City Jail – Male Dormitory, in partnership with Cebu Technical Vocational Training and Assessment Academy, Inc. (VOCTECH), produced seven (7) graduates of the vocational course in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.

The graduates received their diplomas from Mr. Pedro V. Sandalo Jr., VOCTECH President, together with JSUPT JOSEPHUS B JELIANGGAO, DSC, Jail Warden, assisted by SJO4 Nanette L. Bolodo, Deputy Chief RWDD, and SJO4 Fernando Paer, Talisay CJMD Assistant Warden and Chief, WDU.

The milestone was celebrated with the graduates’ families and BJMP personnel, highlighting the importance of education and skills development in transforming lives and preparing PDLs for a brighter future.
