On May 11, 2026, during the regular barangay session, Hon. Reno Galia, SK Chairperson, officially proposed Barangay Ordinance No. 012, S. 2026 to the Barangay Council, and it successfully passed its First Reading.

For the past administrative terms, our community lacked a local policy framework to regulate public disturbances. Instead of responsibly addressing security risks, previous leaders completely banned community discos and recreational events, punishing everyone for the actions of a few.

By formally introducing this ordinance to the council, Hon. Reno Galia is initiating a system where celebrations can safely return, supported by clear regulations, progressive fines, and community service penalties for violators. This First Reading marks the official beginning of its legislative journey.
